Wowww thanks to everyone for the wonderful feedback! Folks have been sharing this around the world and I'm thrilled that this video was able to spark so much nostalgia and general enjoyment. Isn't LEGO *great*?!
Awesome collection! I just visited England and flew back with a bag full of vintage LEGO I received as a kid. Currently rebuilding several of these sets and feeling very fortunate to be able to play with these once again decades later. Thanks for sharing these!
That's a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG display! Love this collection. I should really make a display for the two themes I've 100%- Toy Story and The Simpsons (actually, wait, I DO have those on display)!
Wow, this took me straight back to my childhood. I am 41, I got my first set when I was 5 in 1979. It was the Rocket Launcher and I was hooked. Seeing my very first set in your video was amazing and brought back a lot of very happy memories!
My favorite toy ever was 442 Space Shuttle. I still have the remains of it. Some parts are gone and some have been replaced. I cannot tell you how many adventures that little white astronaut had interacting with my other toys and landing on furniture planets. This was a true joy for me to watch. I love the AT-AT inspired walker but I don't remember it from the books. I remember wearing out Lego catalogs and wanting so many of these.
So I guess this is it! No more classic space reviews. I will be sad not to have these videos pop up in feed anymore because I truly enjoyed their novelty. Other reviewers aren't as dedicated to reviewing sets as you are, and that definitely shows, because you reviewed tens years worth of a single series. I loved these reviews, and it was fun for me to go along for the ride, as you completed your collection. You may have been surprised at how many views the the videos got, but at the end of the day you can rest assure that you made one fan happy! Thank you for being awesome, I can't wait to see what you do next. PS: What car would you like to see in Speed Champions next? I'd like to see the 1967 Mini Cooper rally car in Lego form!
I love these sets! I owned a couple, 4-5 of them back in the 70´s. My dad also got me 8-10 of the gray landing/crater plates. Awesome fun turning the playroom into a space landscape. Good times! Thanks for this!
Nostalgia overload! I owned probably a third to half of these sets in the 80's. One of my larger regrets of growing up was giving my entire Lego collection to my kid brother, 16 years younger than I am, who pretty much lost, or destroyed most of it. I was able to get a quarter of the total collection back some years ago, but I would never be able to assemble even one of these sets again. :(
its really cool that we (younger people) can see and enjoy these sets from before our time. and that you make it fun and exciting is a nice experience, thanks Jang!
Wow, it's not every day you see a Lego theme as old as this one to completion. Outstanding work Jang! The Classic Space line is definitely one of the major highlights of Lego in the 20th century. I've never even seen any of these sets in person yet the nestalgia is strong in me. I'll always have a deep connection to Lego Space themes new and old. They simply fascinate me.
Wow. Seeing all these really remind me of the sets I used to play with when I was little (they were my mom's and my uncle's) I love the classic sets and just seeing them again just makes me really happy
Wow, thank you for this wonderful trip down memory lane! I think I only owned about 20 of those sets growing up, but it's still great to see those as well as the many I missed out on! I'm getting back into Lego now that I have kids and classic space is certainly where my heart is when it comes to Lego!
I had several of the early sets from 1978 to 1981 so a lot of memories for me. I have collected several pieces from ebay hauls but have yet to find any space minifigs which are probably well sought after but I will keep looking out for them. The biggest one I had was the Galaxy Explorer, with the two baseplates but I gave all my Lego away back then and regret it now but it's in the past and I can't change it. I have collected probably as much, if not more, Lego in the past few months and I am building MOCs again.
So great memories, i had some of these as a kid , wonders why i sold them grrrr at me , i really miss all my Lego's . I would like to buy them back but cannot afford the prices they sell on Ebay some prices are overpriced . Glad there are UA-cam videos and people like you Jangbricks . I love much more the old Lego's from 1975-1995 era they are more realistic than nowadays half of sets looks horrible + they have put too much action stuff where it shouldn't , back then kids were imaginative .
Seeing so many of those classic astronauts inhabiting that environment at the same time makes me very happy. I'm super thankful that I get to live vicariously through you in this fantastic miniature world you've constructed.
Awesome collection! Thank you for sharing it with us. I recognized many sets that I own (but are stored away) at the beginning of your flyover. I could also see precisely where I had stopped collecting as a kid. Thanks again for bringing back suck fond memories!
Thank you so much for displaying all these Lego Space Sets. It brought back wonderful memories of myself and friends spending happy days building our on versions of the Lego Space Universe. If only I could do it all over 👍😀
Great setup jang. Not sure if I have seen anything like it before watching this video. Really glad to see that something of the older models are still out there. LEGO IS LIFE.
Had a good few of these as a kid. Thanks for making the video, so many fond memories brought back. TRD Greens, Blues and Yellows everywhere! Pre-visor times!!!
Thank you for doing this a video catalog that anybody can look at that's awsome! also the work put to show the whole collection really brings back memories
I had loads of the little sets when i was a kid and sold them in my teens :( Amazing collection JANG. I bought the new Benny's Spaceship because of your videos!
Wow impressive display. A little bit crowded but great to see all of it together. Benny's Spaceship and your moc do fit in quite nice. Thanks for sharing this
What an awesome collection of (in my opinion) historical value. Really, really great ships that we had back then and no one missed a stud shooter or spring shooter (although I must admit - I do not mind having them now)
AMAZING! Watching this made me think about all the lego I had as a kid, including some of these kits here. And yes I said out loud I had this one or that one! Back then, you could build the set in one or two different combinations and then if you were feeling brave, take it apart and turn it into something else entirely! Great video!
Amazing, very very cool. I like the whole collection, I wasn't even born yet when these sets came out. So, looking at them now, I might want to get them. Keep up the great work, Jang.
I was not around when classic space lego sets were in production but, I think that classic space was the best lego series ever made and I hope to get my hands on some of the ships and bases in the future.
I love this! Just put together some old sets that I had in a closet, and picked up 20-30 extra bricks needed to complete a few of these sets. I loved these space Legos as a kid. Your music choice was fantastic for this video. It reminded me of something between Star Control 2 and flat out being a child, dreaming about being an astronaut. Would love an update video !
Man! That must feel amazing! I know I have almost all the Lego batman sets from 2012 to now except the two face chase down. Trying to find a good deal for it still though. But just looking at all the sets is just an amazing feeling.
I had that Polaris set- the one with the launch pad. I actually found the old instructions in my mom's storage closet and rebuilt it from my old legos my mom saved- as an adult!
Thanks for the video, I started my journey with LEGOs when my dad gave me couple of his old Space sets. This brings some old memories. Cheers to you and good luck with moving :)
My favorite toys as a kid were toys that did not require batteries, and LEGO always met that requirement. I spent endless hours building, taking apart, rebuilding and redesigning spaceships made out of LEGO, along with testing them in the bathtub to see if they would stay upright and float.
Absolutely wonderful collection, and a great display! Now, I'm going up in the attic to retrieve my old space sets and build them with my 4-year old son :-) Keep building Jang, and have a great day!
Space is love. Space is life. We humans should be more interested in space, we aren't as important as we think, we are just a speck in the universe. That is one amazing collection you have there JANG.
Jang, this is an excellent wonderful collection You brought Back good old memories , I owned two space ships and several space stations back in the 80's back home , unfortunately , last time I checked, many many parts are lost , therefore , I showed your video to my 8 year old kid and i just recently got him the benny' s ship from the lego movie, ( it is going to be a surprise birthday gift ).
my grandmother collect lego set for years and she finally gave to me and my cousins and I have been try to put the set back together for some time now and your video have been help me thanks
I actually own several of these as an original owner. they're chilling in my attic ha. it was cool to see my very first space Lego set in that mix: the 6 wheeled Rover with a small spacecraft that launches off the back. I still have the original instructions too. I believe I was 3 when I received it. my kids will love playing with these in a couple years. makes me kinda want the throwback ship from the movie now ha
Wowww thanks to everyone for the wonderful feedback! Folks have been sharing this around the world and I'm thrilled that this video was able to spark so much nostalgia and general enjoyment. Isn't LEGO *great*?!
I not. English!!!
do you think lego will bring back space? it won't be classics but who cares!
Did you buy these recently or back when they were first released?
JANGBRiCKS please review more blactron and arctic space

sciwolf359 I'm the same age and got the same set in the same year.

Phenomenal! Even though I'm way too young to have any semblance of nostalgia for them, I love the look and feel of the earlier Classic Space sets.
Thanks for taking me down to memory lane. My dad bought me, my first Lego Space set back in 1984-85.
So I guess this is it! No more classic space reviews. I will be sad not to have these videos pop up in feed anymore because I truly enjoyed their novelty. They need a new space theme like this. No violence stud shooters or any of that just exploration
The level of awesomeness in this collection is off the charts. Thank you for putting it all together.
Nostalgia overload! I owned probably a third to half of these sets in the 80's. Thank You so much JANGBRiCKS for taking us down memory lane!
Awesome collection and an awesome display of it!
Awesomeness and nostalgia overload!!! And so much blue as well! Not many Lego themes are as memorable as Lego Classic Space! No way!
Thank you for making these. I'm 40, and I love classic space stuff from lego.
its really cool that we (younger people) can see and enjoy these sets from before our time. and that you make it fun and exciting is a nice experience, thanks Jang!

Best era of legos ever. I went off to college and my mother gave all my space legos to one of her friends kid. I can say I miss them to this day.
