I heard the creator of the show originally intended each season to revolve around different characters (a new cast of heroes if you will). Which makes the ending of season 1 make sense if you consider Peter, Nathan & Sylar were meant to die. Ending this story, but moving on to another.
Never understood why Peter couldn't just fly himself into the atmosphere. He's a mimic and in season one he could hold onto multiple abilities at once.
The nuclear power is to unstable to control. He says himself he can't control it or do anything else: if he stopped 'holding in' the explosion to use his flying power, he would have exploded immediately
He can't control his powers while holding it back - but the real dumb thing is... why did they make such a big deal about killing him? He would of just healed lol
@@MurckleMan I Think they imagined that with an explosion of that size and intensity He could vaporise him. Or that the only way to make sure he stayed dead was to blow his brains out not just sever them. They would have kept him dead afterward so it cant happen again. For all they know he would reignite after healing. ( i know tim lived but he also didnt go as kaboom). There's also the writing fact. Everyone was supposed to die in the first place. Season 2 was meant to have a whole new cast.
I loved that solar could have for sure killed hiro before he could rush him with the katana if he just decided to kill hiro the moment he had eyes on him but he clearly underestimated hiro being more than prepped to end his life which is crazy since he could clearly see hiro was holding a fucking katana
They really shouldn't have suggested that Claire could stop Peter by shooting him because once they took the bullet out of his head he would just heal and come back to life. They should've set it up like the bullet would've only caused him to explode leading Nathan as their only hope. Also this really should've been where Nathan died.
@heinarnarvaez2837 in season 2 adam also said that they'd have killed him if they only could or knew how to. The company is a giant corporation. They never thought about shooting Adam in the head before? Also Peter and Claire can survive a nuclear explosion strong enough to destroy a city but can't survive a gun shot? A shot gun makes sense because it would take their head off, but a handgun? They could get a surgeon to dig it out the back of his head afterwards
There is a specific spot in the back of the head/in the brain that when something is jammed in there, the regeneration ceases This is seen in Clair in season 1 when a tree branch is stuck in her head However later, Sylar figures out how to move this spot around
If this show had ended with Season 1, I'm absolutely sure that it would have become a cult classic.
It became his cult classic.
Yes it is, Claire

An anthology. Nice
it still is, it still is
One of the greatest scenes in Television history, especially if you're a guy with an older brother.
dude, mine's kind of an ass
@@ogladaczr.t.3168 Yes, I should have clarified, a Good, older brother. But, to be honest, mine's kind of an ass sometimes too
I am the older brother and I know exactly how Nathan felt there. This show is one of my top 3 favourites
@ogladaczr.t.3168 to be fair Nathan was also kind of an ass but he redeemed himself here
Just true
This show had one of the best single seasons I have ever seen in my entire life!!! If only they had quit while they were ahead.
Writers strike screwed them.
The bigger brother always comes through in the end
One of the best season 1 finales ever.
Matt is just dying on the floor while everyone’s having a nice chat thinking “did anyone bell this ambulance”
This is how Big Brother take side with Little brother till the end of times.
Even towards death big brother tells little brother to not be afraid.
It's 2020 and I'm still crying with this end.
Same... 😶
I love how his body started to glow like his hands
Petrelli I was so fascinated with your power and its like I absorb energy nowadays..
What do you mean ?
@@BlinzerOmega I think he is quoting the show, could be wrong though
A poignant reminder of a great tv show season 1 only!..... thanks for the upload.
At it's finest
Imagine sylar with hero Nakamura's power

In S2 Adam said that one shoot in the helado and is over there is no coming back from that.... if I remember well those were his exactly words
