I do not like to ad enzymes to my nutrients, Some growers say that it helps by eating the dead roots, my concern is! what stops them from eating the good, live roots. That is why I like to clean the coco out as good as I can after every harvest. Thanks for the comment Joey. Salud
@@moneditadeplata I used to rase worms as far as I know they wont eat the living roots. They only eat dead roots unless no more soil then they will eat roots. They add air to roots by them tunneling in the soil and ya add microbes and fungi enzymes. You can buy enzymes for plants in powder form as well.
@@jac585 I have being growing in coco for many years, the one thing I do not want in my coco is living things other than the roots, living roots, I use fabric pots which give plenty of room for the roots to breath from. Growing in coco is just like growing in hydroponics. If you have any experience in growing Cannabis? You would know what I am talking about. Hope this helps you any Amigo. Thanks. Salud
Nice. Always good to re use. I would just remove the main root ball add microbes and enzymes leave it in the pot. The microbes and enzymes will turn the old roots into food for the plants. Better colonization of microbes life if you dont disturb the soil.
I leave the Root Ball in the Soil plant right next to it , Get a Machete to chop up the Root Ball them 3:26 are full of good stuff that will feed your soil , having a barrel of good soil like you have there is Awesome Good Job Hermano ! The Copper mini rake is a Cutey , i will back engineer me one .
My best friend just gave me the remains of his coco from his huge 3oz dry amnesia autoflower. going to re use it on my flowering plant now give her a boost
doesnt matter what she looks like if she gets the job done! lol i will have to try making one for myself... I been getting lazy with my coco and leave a lot of roots in for the next batch i havent had a problem yet but its probably not ideal lol
I run cannazyme even in fresh Coco so it definately doesn't eat living roots, they are white and a healthy as roots can be. I plan to replant leaving the old roots in.
The CoCo should already be flushed from the previous grow. Just pull the root ball and replant! I just did this and got a larger harvest than the previous grow. Don’t overthink it!
I could watch you do that all day...lol a couple of times 😁 A man of many ideas.... work smarter not harder 🤓 I had gotten six 5 gallon pots of Coco ready and got nervous with 1st run in tent and just now started using pH pen... been winging it last 4 grows 🙃 So I'll be watching and picking up tips to get the best out of my grows 🙏 Much Respect and let me know when you have next new great idea on the market 😁GL💚🦋🦋🦋🦋

Suuuuuuuup my Brother from another Mother! You are correct, when the brain works outside the box!!!!! Some amazing shiat comes out of it. Thanks. Salud
Plants grown in coco have to be taken care of just like if you were using hydroponics, you have to feed them nutrients every time you water them. also make sure that the pot size is always big enough so that the plant does not become root bound. Hope this answers your question Amigo. Thanks Salud
say you added red wigglers would that also help eat dead roots?

Get a 3ft sieve with 1cm gaps or make a chicken wire rack. You will save hours and hours.
Why is it that plants from store geown in coco die after a year or die when i transplant them to living soil?
