Just thought I can hold myself together
But I couldn't breathe, I went outside
Don't know why I thought it'd be any better
I'm fine now, it doesn't matter
I didn't wanna be this guy
I cried at your show with the teenagers
Tell your friend I'll be all right
In the morning it won't matter
I wanna be emaciated
I wanna hear one song without thinking of you
I wish I was on a spaceship
Just me and my dog and an impossible view
I dream about it
And I wake up falling
Ketchum ID:
Back in the States now
In a college town
I would walk around
But it's really coming down
Mesmerized by double lines
Two yellow tightropes
I'm making good time
I am never anywhere
Anywhere I go
When I'm home I'm never there
Long enough to know
Being in love is the same thing as being alone
Giving the sorrow some company
Nothing to say, stay on the phone
And I'm sorry I do not know what else you want from me
I am never anywhere
Anywhere I go
When I'm home I'm never there
Long enough to know
You say "How are you", I say "I don't know
Let's dissolve the band, move to Idaho
Everyone's around and I hear you smiling
You say "I love you", I say "You, too"
I am never anywhere
Anywhere I go
When I'm home I'm never there
Long enough to know
I am never anywhere
Anywhere I go
When I'm home I'm never there
Long enough
Instead of Crosby, Stills, and Nash, this is Baker, Bridgers, and Dacus. These women are as amazing at harmonizing as that iconic group was.
danman6669 while there is talent here, it’s nothing really original or groundbreaking. Mostly kinda boring. Maybe because they are just kids, but still, just kind of bland.
@@ehinton4006 thanks dude, really hot take
@@ehinton4006 You do realize they're not kids, right? Lucy is 23, Phoebe is 24, and Julien is 23, so none are kids. If you don't like their music, that's fine, but don't insult them like that.
They’re really good but the CSN comparisons might be a little early
danman6669 I didn’t intentionally insult them. Looked and acted like kids, so I called them as such. It’s not like I called them ugly or stupid. Maybe you shouldn’t be so sensitive.
This live performance unveils a country vibe that I didn't notice in their recordings, now I definitely do. Great trio!
YES i have watched this video way too many times on the npr website YES i will watch it again on youtube

Big same.
Still is and forever will be one of the best performances on NPR.
My heart. This EP has been on repeat since I got it, love that three artists who I admire so much worked together and blended all that talent to produce something so cool.
