I always thought the front living room layouts are far and away the best layouts... for many reasons. It does a great job of separating the RV into more of a house. Great for entertaining
I have a Montana rear Den. It's awesome! Way better than a front living room because not only does it have the separation but it has way more storage than a front living room.
Agree but we had a gentleman tell us he would never own a front living room because of all the heat. He said the cab is hotter than the rest of the camper. But I still want one myself.
In love with those welds lolll You have got to be kidding right ??? This shows the workmanship in plain view and you think this is a good quality camper LMAO.
How are you liking it? Any top favorites or stand out features, any pet peeves you're noticing? I really like seeing the toilet in that back corner and not right next to the door that leads into the bedroom like most campers do.
@@abyk.r.7855 this is our first RV we have ever owned, but I really don’t have anything to really complain about other then maybe the cheap tires it came with and maybe they could of added more lighting to the outside but other then that it’s very spacious and like you mention the toilet isn’t so close to the door everything on it is LED lighting and we’re living in it full time so far nothing to really complain
Love the outside kitchen. Wow! Thanks for mentioning cpap machine. I always am looking for side tables next to the bed. When the bed is in a slide there is usually no room for a side table.
currently have a Heritage Glen but this particular one could run into issues pulling the kitchen that far out. Also you can be set up at parks where the front to rear rise/drop is way off. I’ve been there and that outside kitchen could either be on the ground or quite a few feet off the ground. Thanks again JD.
Huge trailer, holy smokes! Nice layout, and the bedroom area is huge. Interesting to have a drop frame on the rear end of the trailer. Not sure about the waterboard though. I think it would be better if it was self contained. The outdoor kitchen was definitely unique!
Bought a 2020 36FL. only difference is the storage cubby in the bedroom above the 1/2 bath. Welds on mine are not nearly as scary. We are full timers and storage is a good amount. Towing is pretty easy with our Chevy 3500 Duramax. Outdoor kitchen and fridge are great!
I have one too ! Only thing I wish is that they would have added one or two more windows 🪟 other then that don’t really have much to complain about been living in full time and it’s a great unit for a couple with no kids
JD this unit is awesome 😎!! It’s got everything you would want to full time in it! I don’t see any dislikes! Definitely on my shortlist! Thanks again and nice catching you on Matt’s RV live event! Be safe and look forward to your next video!!
Beautiful floorplan!! Loved everything about it! I wish there was a loft for a kiddo but otherwise it was awesome!! That outdoor kitchen and 3 storage bays were fantastic!!!
JD beautiful Heritage Glen! Lots of storage both garage and through the unit! Love the amenities in the Master bedroom and as you mentioned the walk space around the bed! Keep up the great 👍 videos!!
I’ll be honest. When I read the title saying this was very different I didn’t really believe it. But man were you right and I was wrong. That outside kitchen was amazing and having the wet bay in the back totally makes sense. Especially since most hook ups are back there. Then inside I thought it would be another copy of a tired design. I love the layout of the kitchen with the bar area and counter space. And all that space in the bedroom with a bath and a half is awesome. If we were in the market for a new rig I’d consider this.
What's really nice about this s type of floorplan us that the bedroom is on the opposite site of the living/entertainment room. More buffer from any noise, just in case someone wants to take a nap, while others watch TV, or listen to music and chat.
A couple of things to note, the wet bay is open to the rest of the storage area and pull out kitchen so if there is a leak at the hose connection, guess where the water goes? The storage next to the rear toilet is not a good place for anything that you don't want "splashed" on. I agree with the other comments about the quality of the welding
If that thing had a big enough garage I might would be on my way down there to get it. What a great looking filth wheel thank you for sharing it with us
Man, this RV is awesome, great layout . I really really like front living RVs . The outside kitchen is very cool, and love the pull out storage!! This thing is amazing !
Awesome unit. Definitely a couples entertainment unit. Like others have said, I would like to see a bigger spread on the axles to help it go down the highway a little bit better. I think that is the only thing that would have to be changed at the factory, though. Although, it might not need it with the drop and added weight in the rear. It might tow just as expected. The other upgrades are easy enough to do in the driveway.
Love the separation. Don’t love the length from rear axle to bumper. It’ll drag with dips in the roads, like some campgrounds/parking lots have. Also tail swing will be more pronounced. This type of rig should only be handled by experienced drivers.
Very well spoken to describe this Elite Trailer. Great job. For that money wish it came with washer and dryer and outside wash station to wash off sand and fishing gear. Will make a great house for someone.
What rv has front living room, mid kitchen, two toilets and some kind of extra bed space bunk house or loft. I really like these kind of layouts but i wish they had some kind of extra room or sleeping space apart from living room that can be used as bed when sofas are extended.
I love this one. I love everything about it I love the color I specially love the master bedroom with a king size bed the living area everything is just beautiful
Price is nice! Floor plan is great! But those air conditioners are not as quiet as they claim! We just had a new Coleman Mach ll installed and it’s noisier than the old one that was replaced! Whisper air is the only way to go! Just my opinion.
Great floor plan & outside storage and kitchen setup. I'm not in love with the bar stool eating area. I would have preferred a table and chairs. It's nice that you have seating for 6 in the living room and only seating for two for dinner.
Purchased ours in February of 2020 and we love it. It is big at 44 feet but pulls like a dream with my 2018 ram 3500. The outdoor kitchen is the best I have seen. The only issue we have had was the outdoor kitchen faucet was leaking. I wanted a higher one so I replaced it myself. All in all real nice 5th wheel. You can see ours @ The Flip Flop Way of Life on youtube. Thanks for reading till next time. Jim & Jan (The Flip Flop Way of Life)
Christopher Higginbottom, I was having the same concern about the low hanging frame. We were dragging the overhang on our toy hauler getting on and off of the Lake Roosevelt ferry. It looks like it's a good thing that the sewer drain is behind the frame work! Nice rig, though...
@@tn65s Holy Smoke, that ought to do it! I ordered a pair of dual 8" swivel casters. A friend of mine is a welder/fabricator. He made a pair of steel plates that are welded to the I-beam frame. The casters are bolted to the plates. Haven't had a chance to test them yet but I'm sure tired of tearing stuff off the rig. Safe travels y'all.
lee glidewell I’ve got a set of solid steel rollers bracket mounted to my hitch...couldn’t get up my driveway with them. They are absolute life savers. They are used every single time I leave and return to the house.
@@tn65s Tom can you explain more about the rollers and the size and exactly what they fix for someone who never had a Toy hauler and is deciding between a class A D.P. and a 5th wheel. Thanks a lot for any info.
This is beautiful. I love the outside slide out kitchen but was thinking the the rear drop frame may make it pretty low back there for the sewer connections. Also, it looks like a lot of weight in the back making it even more necessary to pull with at least a duelly and ideally an HDT. Nice unit though.
Thank you for your great RV tours, I would love to see what they look like with slides in or even just talk about it. One thing we are really looking for in our next one is travel day accessibility for refrigerator and bathroom with out slides having to come out.
Both the half-bath and refrigerator are directly in front of the entrance door. The only wildcard is the depth of that kitchen slide. Does it come in so far that the refrigerator obstructs the bath door?
I have never liked sewer controls in a shared bay and in this case its right next to your outside grill station. Not a good move. Also where is your hose likely to end up? Same bay and in that pull out tray.
Great! Fantastic! Just what I needed to see! Now I either need to replace my new trailer with this or drop my subscription so I'm not teased by awesome units like this...
Love everything about this fifth wheel to the outside departments and the living areas. But what turn me off about this unit is when you said Coleman air-conditioning. I had two Coleman units on my fifth wheel RV and had nothing but trouble with them. First time with problems they wouldn't cool and kept running all day . Had to check out because we had the warranty. They said that had to add charge them . Two weeks later they were freezing over. We decided to change air-conditioning units to a different brand. So far a year later. No problems. Love this unit. But the Coleman units would have to go !
Saw a brand new Wildwood Heritage Glen with the lower master and upper loft(not sure what model number but it was tall!) on the interstate today being pulled by an older SRW F-350 and he was swaying all over 🙈
I like everything BUT the half bath in the kitchen! Much rather have a butler’s pantry. Other than that, love the price on this unit and the interior is fantastic!
Very nice, but there's no dining table. If you can bring four or more people (kids) with you, where do you all eat? Can table connections be added to the floor in front of both couches and tables be added there? A two person bar is great for a couple, but not with guests.
Its exactly the style I'm looking for I love the living room to be separate like that and the bedromm at the front end I love this so much and for year round living its perfect I noticed one thing it didn't seem to have a built in vacuum or did I miss that in this unit ?
Well done as are all your videos. Love this unit but I sure wouldn't enjoy parking it. We have a 37ft toy hauler that is very tough to park in state parks. When our kids stop camping we will downsize for sure.
One thing I saw was the aluminum framing visible in the storage bays. That’s a big plus over wood. Do all of the larger 5th wheels come with aluminum framing?
Very good video review. I like the floor plan, and it appears the outside kitchen is designed for easy removal if someone wanted more storage. I'm curious what the pin weight is with the rear drop frame and a washer/dryer installed. As with every fifth wheel, a few gripes. They should have hidden the wires behind the TV. Also, I'm not in love with the cabinetry. It looks average at best, and they should have a vent fan in each bathroom. On the water panel, it appears there is a second gray tank dump valve, but nothing was connected to it. For the price however, it is a very nice rig.

4:00 DOT inspection fail on the weld. To think the same welder did the rest of the frame..
Those welds under the back looked like Stevie wonder laid them 😂

Exactly what I was thinking.

Very well done. I, personally, would be fine with a Queen bed & MORE hanging closet space.
Are there any drawbacks to having the axels that close together? Do you thing the rear drop frame makes it low enough to drag on steep grade changes?
