    Already have a 6 liter and it's great! Would be cool to also have a bigger option (maybe 8 liter) as well to pack let's say a 16-35 and a 70-200 mounted. The height and depth of the 6 liter is good as it is but the more in length would come in very handy imho.

    I just got the 6L bag yesterday at the I Heart Photography show, at a nice show discount. This is the bag that I've looking for. I can carry both my Lumix G9 and Lumix GX9, with lens, and room for another lens. I can easily carry a spare battery and SD cards for both. I really like the hidden Apple Tag compartment, great thinking on your part. Being able to add accessories to the bag is another great idea. Like all other Tenba bags, this is very well made and high quality. I used it today walking all over the Dallas Arboretum, and it was perfect. Very happy that I went to the show yesterday. Thank you for a truly outstanding camera bag!

    These look really good, Peter! Would've been cool to have weather resistant zippers, though. When will they be available in Europe?

    • @tenba5546
      @tenba5546 Рік тому +4

      In an attempt to make the bags as quick as possible to swap gear in and out of, we used a normal zipper. PU-coated zippers don't move well on tight radius corners, and they look like they offer more water-repellency than they actually do. So this design decision was made in an attempt to find the best possible balance of performance.

    HI Tenba, I just wanted to give my feedback regarding this since I love your Axis V2 24L backpack, however this is a miss for me. It all comes down to the strap. I received my copy from BH Photo and tried using it for two weeks across four different photoshoots and I hated interacting with the strap.
    It really boils down to the "memory foam" being non-moveable and only really works for those that sling over their left shoulder is a pretty big design oversight. A removable pad and strap that allows it to be oriented the other way and carried across the right shoulder with the memory foam on it would have been such a welcome option. It would also allow me to wear the sling on my chest more comfortably for a longer period since I walk a fair distance with a backpack on my back, it would have been great to have be able to move the strap and pad in a way that allowed a wider degree of customisation. As such, when I carry my sling on the front of my body, the non moveable foam just digs into my armpit of the opposite arm and even cuts of circulation.
    I really hope a V3 can be put out that has a removable strap- allowing the user to decide which shoulder they want the padding on or even adding extra utility to where the sling can be used as an insert in other camera bags. I also hope that a more standard moveable pad is used instead that way I can make changes to where the padding sits if I am carrying extra gear or carrying the sling in a forward orientation or even wearing more or less layers of clothing.
    Really wanted to love this but unfortunately have gone back to my Wandrd Roam for the meantime and have sold this on a local marketplace at a loss since BH Photo won't accept a return for this. I really like you gear and you guys seem like the type of company that values feedback so I thought I would share.

      I feel the same way about the strap! I even emailed them about it and waiting for a reply! I threw out all the tags so idk if my local camera shop will let me return it! Such a let down. Otherwise a great bag.

    It is very good bag. It can tightly fit: dji air 2s with 2 additional batteries and controller, Sony a7 iv with tamron 28-75, np-fz100, couple if filters, microphone sony ecm-m1, or sony 20 f/1.8 lens. It becomes heavy, but usable. Very nice bag in general.

    Can the 4L strap accommodate someone that’s 6’6” tall comfortably?

    • @tenba5546
      @tenba5546 Рік тому +1

      Yes, it will. The maximum drop length from the strap to the top of the sling is 24 inches. It should fit comfortably.

    • @TenbaBags

      Yes, in addition to also working as a waist pack, the strap is designed to work on either shoulder.

    Is the Pivot durable?

    • @TenbaBags
      @TenbaBags  8 місяців тому

      Yes it is. In addition to testing the bag design with nearly 100 lb inside before it was approved, we’ve also never had a pivot strap fail or detach in the field.

    • @tenba5546
      @tenba5546 Рік тому +1

      The strap is not removable. The pivot requires that it be a very secure piece of hardware.

    memory foam doesn't seem to be able to support if I carry the sling in front, right?

    • @TenbaBags
      @TenbaBags  10 місяців тому +1

      That's correct. However, it should be noted that most sling bags in this style have little to zero padding in the strap, so the memory foam is a significant upgrade when in use, and when the sling is positioned with the memory foam off the shoulder, it's just similar to every other sling bag.

    I like the look , but they look a tad bulky .

    • @tenba5546
      @tenba5546 Рік тому +2

      Admittedly they are less curved and organically shaped than some sling bags on the market, but the advantage of this is that they are *much* easier to get camera gear in and out of. In addition, the Axis military style is a bit more function-over-fashion by design.

    I don't get why camera bags are always made in such dark colors. All that does is heat up all your equipment, which runs batteries down more quickly. Also transfers the heat to you.

    • @tenba5546
      @tenba5546 Рік тому +2

      It's a good question. But there's an answer. Whenever we make light colors, everyone just buys black. :) So in all honesty, the market kind of dictates. However, we do make our rain cover silver on one side to reflect the heat, and we don't know of another manufacturer that does that.

    Well I have a bunch of Tenba Bags and I ordered this one. The person who designed this useless strap on this thing should be fired and this bag went back to B&H. The problem is, you're marketing a "Sling Bag" but because you wanted it to also be a '70s Butt Hugger bag the strap became the point of failure to where the "Padded" part of the strap never comes in contact with your shoulder and it is the buckle that rides on your shoulder. This strap should have been similar to the Solstice Sling with plenty of padding and if you wanted it to be dual purpose the strap should have clipped onto the bag with a second strap specifically for a bulbous fanny pack.
    This bag is a total failure... Did anyone at Tenba actually field test this thing to see this huge flaw? Doubtful. And I'm not the only one, as comments are starting to show up in reviews citing the very same issue, so other people have experienced the same FAILURE!
    Good luck with this disaster... You need a "V3" to fix your screw up!

    • @TenbaBags
      @TenbaBags  Рік тому +5

      Sorry to hear you had an issue with the bag. It was heavily field tested over the course of a year, with multiple users. The market demands of the sling category have changed in the last few years, with most users preferring a slimmer strap. We still offer the Solstice Sling Bag with the more traditional wide shoulder strap. Regarding the buckle riding on the shoulder, that is also something we had not experienced. A Sling Bag is meant to be tightened to the body so that the weight moves more seamlessly with you. If it's used in that way, the buckle should be far from the shoulder. But again, we realize each user has different needs and shooting styles, which is why we make so many different bags.

    Beware - This bag has destroyed clothing by badly bobbling and wrecking fibres on multiple shirts with the overly tough webbing/mesh on the rear of the bag. A design flaw which is now costing me money.

      Sorry to hear about this. Our entire internal team uses Axis bags daily, and we sell the bags in around 60 countries, and this is the first time anyone has reported an issue with the mesh hurting their clothing. If you email service@tenba.com, we'd love to find out more.

      @@TenbaBags I've emailed and got no response. I contacted messaging on instagram weeks ago and still no help. Not good. I need this resolved. I notice the new solstice has no webbing on the back and is smooth. I'm wondering why the change. This has destroyed clothing and some quite expensive due to bad design from friction on all settings on the strap, tight and loose. I cannot believe it. sent emails on 13th August 2024. crickets.
      Sad really as I had an issue with a Tenba trolley bag and support was excellent. Why have you dropped the ball here.
      I have 3 bags - The Fulton V2 camo 16L, DNA slim 13, Axis V2 sling - I'm about to buy the solstice V2 as its a smooth rear side so it doesn't damage clothing but in fairness if this is how customers are treated when there is a problem I may have to look else where at the competition.
