Hi Nat, thankyou so much, I managed to get the cookie off without any damage so I was happy about that. I shall take a shot of the Angel once I light her up. Hope thearket went well 🙏 ❤️ ❤️
Day one was a dead loss unfortunately! We shall see tomoz! I would love to see power turquoise combos!!
Hello Julia! Wow what an amazing kilnload indeed! Love the pinks!
@@mudmagic407oh that is a shame! Good luck tommorow! You make such lovely ceramics ❤
Wow Julia, what a great kiln unload. Love them all. So hard to pick a fav. I just love how excited you get.
Julia you are making those glazes sing! Gorgeous bowls!
Thankyou so much Lisa 😊
Love your reactions! So nice to see that pottery can bring such joy! Your items are GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing the combos.
Thankyou so much Sonya 😊
Fantastic kiln opening! Wow, those bowls!
Hi Linda, thankyou so much 😊
Yes absolutely gorgeous Julia. Your bowls are so beautiful. And the angel is so devote. I would like to see the heart lighted up by a tea candle. Me too like your tea candle holder in ball shape. And with the cookie under it looks just fine. Maybe consider a refire to glaze the cookie as well so it becomes a whole piece. And the glaze helps the cookie more attaching?
Thank you for your enthousiastic video and with the nice glaze combo's.
Greets
Sheila 🌸
Hi Sheila, thankyou, if you follow my Instagram I will try and put a pic of the Angel lit up.
I managed to get the cookie off the luminary, that was a choice too to glaze the cookie in a refire 😊
@@ceramicsbyjulia8552 you are welcome Julia.
I'm not on insta nor facebook.
Maybe a short lil vid on here?
Have a good day

Hi Julia, what a fantastic kiln unload! I love your pink bowls and I’m also loving honeydew. I’ve tested your amarillis and kimchi combo on porcelain and It’s beautiful. I can’t wait to try that on a large bowl next. Thank you for sharing!❤
Thankyou Ana, I love that combo. Haven't tried porcelain yet. Looking forward to seeing your big bowl 😊
Beautiful Julia! Kimchi and Mayco Flux with some extras. 🤯🤯wonderful ! Love that bowl 😀💯

Hello Julia! i love the pink bowl and the angel are stunning .
Thankyou so much Angelina 😊
Beautiful results! Is love to see the pitcher with how you plan to do the lights. It's such a brilliant idea!
Hi Tiffany, hope you are feeling a bit better 🙏 I will do a short when I put the lights in and hang it up. It's still pretty gloomy here in the UK so may wait for the nicer weather 😊
It's a delite to watch your reactions when you get a great piece out. I liked the angel and the large bowls. Kimchi is one of my favorite glazes
Thankyou so much Allen, I am loving kimchi too, fast becoming one of top 5 if not top 3 smile 😊
Super pieces Julia, i like the illuminare with the cookie fixed
Hi, thankyou so much, thankfully I got thr cookie off with no damage 😊
Fabulous in pinks!!!!!!❤️❤️
Thankyou Jan ❤️ 💙
Hi Julia 🥰 what an amazing kiln opening you have there 🤩🤩 I love everything so much - I’m not even sure I could pic a fav lol also I have now found you on Instagram so I will send you a couple of pics of the bowls I made from your inspiration xx
Hi Laney, I know it is so hard to pick from that lovely selection, I was really happy. Look forward to seeing your things 😊
I love the orange of your dress so perhaps that. I said on your short how lovely the angel was, but I’ll say it again, she is stunning. Out of interest what gauge Nichrome did you use on her wings. Now, all I need to do if find a pitcher mould like the one you got from you son!! I’m an insta follower, and I always am excited to see your posts x
Hi lovely, you are so right orange would be gorgeous, I don't have any oranges but I am going to look into that! I could get a base orange with amaco celadon poppy and marigold or snapdragon and marigold...you have my brain working now 😄 I should be more productive now the spring is here 🙏 the nicheome was given toy by a lady who had no use for it but I think it is about gauge 20 quite thick. I have gauge 22 and that is really useable too. Thankyou so much for your support ❤️😊
You could try coating the whole base with a thick slip which once dry can be scraped back to make inlay, Mishima. That would produce a smooth surface - just a suggestion
Hi Suzy, the whole base of which? The luminary base is already fores so slip wouldn't adhere to it or scrape back for mishima, which piece were you meaning? 😊
@@ceramicsbyjulia8552 the base of your bowls show the ridges and dips of the circles and pear drop shapes you have placed in the mould to make the bowl. If when you release the bowl you apply a coloured slip to the underside and scrape back once dry, those ridges and dips will show up in a colour compatible to the glaze inside, also the underside will be smooth
@susyward581 ahh I see what you are saying, one of the main points of the bowls are the circles and teardrop shapes, sometimes I do high pedestals or low ones. I don't see the point in doing the shapes if I'm going to cover them as they are covered on the inside so want them bare on the outside. I totally get what you are saying though, if I were doing a plain bowl outside I could do the mishima, thankyou for the idea 😊
W😮w absolutely magnificent darlin ime loving the angel and he illuminare well done love ❤❤❤
Thankyou sweetheart 💖 💕 💗
I love the pink bowl especially the center and I don’t like pink.
Thankyou Denise 😊
Wow you really out did your self this time !!! Green please
Ahh thankyou Jan, I will try some greens 😊
You should leave the Coockie. It looks fine with it. It looks like it’s part of it.
Thankyou, it came off but I wish I had left it on 😄
Have you done anything with Spectrums Curry?
I haven't tried curry as a glaze yet, the name does put me off 😅
