Julia, all your pieces were truly works of art. You are so creative. Coming up with original designs and lovely, playful details. The ancient copper on the blue lady turned out stunning! The green vase was brilliant. -Liana
Hi Loana, thankyou so much for your kind comments. I just go with what comes into my mind, I don't want to be a mug potter I just like experimenting, clay has almost infinite possibilities and I love that. Big change of theme for the next pieces 😊
Julia, you have a wonderful imagination. Love that green jug. I had previously watched the slab mould method. Your lady jugs are all amazing. Well done ❤Jeanette
Great kiln opening Cuz! I love the blue lady, she's my favorite, out of the ladies. I absolutely love the green jug, it's gorgeous! I'm so glad you fixed the random jug. I really like that one too! It was a very successful kiln opening! ❤🥰😘
@@ceramicsbyjulia8552 Hi Cuz! You're welcome. I'm so happy for you! It's so exciting when everything in the kiln comes out good, and even better than you expected. ❤🥰😍
Hi Cuz, yeah me too there is no other feeling like it is there than that joyful feeling when you created wonderful surprising pieces. No wonder we keep on playing with clay. ❤️ 🥰 😘
Oh Julia!! These doll jugs are absolutely amaaazing!! I LOVE all of the fun details!! My gosh how fun! You are so talented! I also love the green jug! It’s absolutely perfect!!! It looks like a big leaf!!
Hi lovely Michele, thankyou so much, I loved making them, they were so much fun, I ran out of steam at 5 though was hoping for more. My attention doesn't stay in one place for long. Something completely different coming in the next kiln load, about as opposite of pretty doll jugs as you can get 😂 my fave is still the green jug xx
@@ceramicsbyjulia8552 I could tell from your reactions that you love them! I love that you left the skin not glazed! I have a hard time staying focused as well. It can be very hard. I can not wait to see what you have in store for us next.
Such beautiful pieces Julia, all of them. My favourite? The green jug with the cord shaped brown handle. So very pritty. Enjoyed your video, it was a night cap for me. Im going to sleep now. 23.10 here. Bye Julia Looking forward to your next video 👋 ♡ Sheila
Oh WoWZA!!!!! Absolutely ADORE your sassy ladies!!! The bodice and lace up back.....LOVE!! What a fabulous collection. Youre work inspires me to try more hand-building work. The jug I have to admit was my favourite piece of the kiln, despite me loving the ladies. It was the sweeping texture that you added to the sides that gave the piece movement and the simplicity of the glazing worked perfectly. Great kiln opening, what a relief! Can't believe you added wet clay, unfired to a piece and added it to a glaze opening....you're definitely pushing the boundaries lol Great Video!
I'm living on a crazy edge Jeanette 🤣 it could have gone either way 🤣 I do adore the ladies but I totally get what you mean about the jug it just says everything I love about pottery that simple can be as beautiful as complex pieces and complex glazes. I am so happy you are inspired to do more handbuilding 😊 let me know what you want me to bring to our adventure 😀 Xxx
@@ceramicsbyjulia8552 so looking forwards to us finally meeting! We need to have a think and plan how we best spend out clay time together! Not long to wait now!
Watching your video now!! You are so adorable..I know exactly how you feel before opening up your kiln!! Wow!! That tall jug is Stunning!! Love the shape and the glaze is just amazing! WOW.. the next jug with the swirly bits is also incredible!! Did you stagger the Emerald Falls? Gorge!! 🥰
Hi Sarah, thankyou so much, the emerald falls I did all coats to the bottom, I figures on its own it was reasonably stable, thank goodness it didn't run staggering a little towards the bottom would probably be a good idea 😊
Ohhh I know that feeling of not wanting to look! Love that first tall jug glaze and form beautiful. Love the 2nd jug too n it’s green n brown lol. Love emerald falls alone gorgeous. Omg u cracked me up over the pearl necklace b4 u even mentioned me hahaha thanks for the shoutout!! I like the raw skin. Maybe flower transfers on the dress would be pretty. U can put them ontop of stable glazes. Boobies haha I’m laughing again! Is the blue rutile lady really just blue rutile? Where’s the green coming from? Love seeing all the jugs together stunning!
Hi lovely, I knew you would be laughing, I couldn't have painted ithe necklace any other colour after our conversation 😆 I am in love with emerald falls now. Thr blue rutile is just blue rutile, it is all blue did it look green on camera? 😊 ❤️ xx
