I first heard Enya years ago while visiting Friends and Family in Denmark (my Husbands birth place) there was something that actually came over me it was...peace. I have since listened to her recordings for years no, I'm 80 years old now and I feel when I hear her music, I'm home she has something special in her words and music!!

I certainly do undeestand this solace you receive from this noble music. It is hopeful and inspires reassurance there is a Spirit in the divine reams who has control of the end from the beginning. He being Almighty God maker of heaven and earth, your Creator and of all the beauty of this wonderful creation. This world is not our home. We are surely just pilgrims and sojourners passing through. Those of us so ordained know we are to live in this world but not be partakees of the evil insomuch as we can see trouble coming and take steps to avoid it. Hence we can retreat to the shelter this music affords our highest and best selves.

I have been a fan of Enya since returning from the Gulf War. I was broken and hurting in Rhein Main AFB hospital and a nurse put her Discman (remember it's the early 90s) on my ears s I could relax. It was Enya's Shepard Moons CD. I felt instant peace and I know it helped me rest. Been a fan ever since. Mind you, I liked bands like Van Halen so it was a huge swing for me but I love her stuff.

Enya was very successful in this genre. Indeed her & the team created spellbinding music. That is both metaphysical, magical and yet earthly. This music was playing in my life as I began to access intergalactic connections and psychic realms. The musical scores in all the albums are great for this kind of thing.
Pax Deorum is such a standout track for me! combines folk vibes with a dark atmosphere and still also manages to sound ethereal at the same time. amazing.

All Enya music is good sleep music. Have a good player and put the volume down really low, almost to where you cant hear it and then sleep. There are rhythms you will experience you would have missed.

Always soothing! I heard it first in 1996 in a small shop in the Netherlands. I introduced it to my daughter, born in 1996. We both loveit!
We were used to celebrate the Spiritist Gospel at Home with the soundtrack by Enya in the year of 1995. I cherish this memory brimming with tears in my eyes. Ms. Ethnie ni Braonain is a great composer !
The cover art of this album is inspired by the works of Maxfield Parrish, one of the 20th century's greatest illustrators. China Roses' lyrics pay homage to some of his works. "Daybreak" in particular.

Hearing Enya sing in Gaelic touches my Gallic soul. It reminds me of where my line comes from, and the spirit and passion with which they lived.
I have specific memories of exactly where I was, what I was doing, and what I felt at the exact moment I first listened to every track on this album. Takes me back quite a ways. Enya influenced my own music making quite a bit. My piano improvisations, especially the early ones, sounded much like “From Where I Am.”
Here in Melbourne, Orstraya, we're again facing the prospect of extensive lockdowns. Regardless of their severity, Enya's music provides some sort of almost melancholic (not depressive!) balm to the cold and wet days of uncertainty ahead. Thank you, TSOML.
