I listened to Enya from inside the womb and fighting for my life in an incubator born at 1lb 4oz... no wonder I have such affinity for ethereal music, polyrhythm, layered songs, with strong use of minor notes and foreign languages... it was like I was born stomping my hands and heart to the beat of the earth..thank u Enya..

Banger after banger. My parents had this on CD when I was a kid and I LOVED it so much that my Dad recorded it for me on tape (1985 child 😂). I remember his neat handwriting in black ink on the casette sleeve. I loved being able to play it in my own bedroom on my tape player. Wonderful memories! 💕

I used to have all her albums. This is like the "Greatest Hits" album. The importance and huge impact of Enya's music can never be overstated. I've been a huge fan since the 80's. I used to need to listen to Enya just to get some sleep. When you close your eyes Enya has the power to transport you to another time and place. Thank you.

Over 20 years ago I got this CD by chance from Enya. Enya and her fascinating way of making music have stayed in my heart and head ever since. This perfect harmony that can be heard in each of her songs is unattainable and can be compared to the great masters such as Bach, Mozart and Vivaldi. Her songs in Gaelic, in particular, are masterpieces.

I purchased the album "Paint the sky with stars" in 1997 following a friend's advice and I immediately loved it at first hearing. And still to this day, every time I listen to it, I feel so relaxed.

Este fue el segundo compacto que compre y me costó aquí en México 252 pesos y a casi 20 años de haberlo adquirido se oye cómo si fuera la primera vez que lo pongo, a Enya la conocí (no literalmente) por la XENK Radio 6 20 La música que llegó para quedarse que aún existe pero ya no con el mismo formato, en aquellos años de 1980, 1990 y parte de los 2000 era una estación que solo tenía música muy selecta de diferentes partes del orbe, en su programación incluía música instrumental, clásica, de grandes Bandas, en inglés , francés, japonés, portugués, italiano, Rock and Rol, pop, electrónica y New age que era en la que se catalogaban la música de Enya. En verdad llegaron a mi mente muchos recuerdos al encontrar este video de un CD que aún poseo, Mis temas favoritos de Enya son Caribe blue, May it be, A day without a rain, Any where is, entre otros mas gracias por compartir para muchos de nosotros y las nuevas generaciones a tan inigualable artista, un cordial saludo de desde Mi MÉXICO 🇲🇽

GAME OF THRONES producers should have included Enya music in the episodes because both (Enya nd GOT) have a lot in common like castles, winter is coming, horses, stars, dragons, love, moon, night, book of the days, the calvary guards, roses ,Queens ,to mention but a few.

Such amazing voice, love it
As a child my family would pile into the car once a year and drive to the french mountains. We werent allowed to start this album until we saw the first mountain with snow on it, the album would end just as we arrived in the valley. We also werent allowed to listen to enya at any other time, nor did we want to. Now as an adult i use it to teleport myself back into my 12 year old body for an hour, just an hour of precious escape to the mountains. Nostalgia isnt a strong enough word 🥺
