Wow the dappled light shining thru the forest is really odd, most likely due to change in suns rays passing thru smoke? Stay safe, most important!!! Giddy about fishing lol😂
Thanks for taking us along on your experience. You're showing many of us areas that we haven't seen even though we live near here. We are on a family trip to Crater Lake and Sunriver, but every day looking forward to your videos.
The section coming up from Elk Lake to Santium Pass, on the west side of the Three Sisters, is probably the most scenic and beautiful section of the Oregon PCT. Hopefully, it make up for the section you had to miss. Enjoy!
I’m so bummed that your hike has been interrupted, but glad that you’re safe. We had a lot of smoke up at Crater in the evenings, but it would kind of let up each morning.
I think ppl should start doing the PCT SOBO with a May start day , these fire get worse every summer I’m in PHX and AZ also gets fires all summer long ✌️
So sorry for you 12mile hich after Miller lake not a bad hich,.lots of good people coming and going from Miller...got to go around to 58.. clear sailing to Mt hood..big fire at hood looks like need to take eagle creek alternative hope to see you guys at PCT days Aug 16 Stop my Maiden Peak shelter hit the log book I was there July 4th
Really respect your approach to the fires. I’ve seen a few other pct vloggers who seem to be taking a bit more self centered approach.
Thanks for staying out of the fire areas. ❤ hike on!
Wow! I went down there in 2021 to soak my feet and have lunch. The mosquitoes ate me alive, but so happy I explored! Excellent exit point! 💯🙏🏻

Aw looks like I missed seeing you guys by a couple of days. I was just at Rosary Lakes on the 16th.
yes it's sad but Mother Earth's power is not to be messed with be glad to be alive
I live in Central Oregon, that thunderstorm started hundreds of fires in Oregon and Washington. Trail will be closed in lots of spots. Sorry!

I'm glad you're safe! I like that you kissed trout and you let it go. I think 🤔 the trout is confused by that experience !😂
I agree. It's all too easy in this age in which we live to not recognize where our protein comes from.

Not sure if that would be a solution. That would put hikers midway at this time of year which is where some of the fires currently are burning
HES A ZOO KEEPAHHHHHH 😂😂😂
