I Had to Replace my Vision Pro! Battery to Blame?

My Apple Vision Pro Headset stopped working shortly after getting it. I ended up needing to exchange the whole headset instead of getting a new battery because Apple wanted it back for testing!

My AVP also went "dead" on day two, after I added the developer strap. But I was able to "revive" it by removing and re-attaching both straps again. I hope it will stay like this.

It's typical for new product launches for Apple stores to be instructed to collect samples of defective hardware for engineering failure analysis.
This is the first replacement story I've seen, but I keep expecting more due to the magnetic light seal making it so easy to drop it.

I'm surprised the vision pro held up quite well except I didn't realize that it would die instantly after. 😮
