These filters are awesome on the T7. The prefilter is so good that my inner main filter was almost spotless after 12,000 miles with half off road in dusty conditions.
Uni Filter rep recommended trimming 15mm off the internal snorkel in the airfilter. Provides more swirl in the air to drop the contaminants. Good vid. Hope you heal up well.
These pre filters are a must have for T7’s that are ridden in dusty conditions. I have found that Wizard’s motorcycle wash will clean these filters VERY good.
Don't know how it took me so long to find your channel, but I see many videos in your list that I will be going back to view! I was searching for solutions to address the surging that my '21 T7 does at low speeds (like idling thru a parking lot), when I came onto your channel. I see in the comments here that several of you have taken length off of the inside of the intake snorkel (and I saw MAD TV's piece on that as well). Hoping that by doing that, it will not only drop dust particles more efficiently, but also help with the low-speed surging. Any helpful comments on that subject are welcome! Also, if anyone knows where to find these pre-filters in the US, I would appreciate to know! Subbed.....and ride safe!
Welcome 🤗 Not sure if cutting the inner snorkel a bit helps in the surging part. I’we gotten so used to it, so doesn’t bother me. But I heard people that have got the bike mapped, and that have helped. Even mapped by their local Yamaha.
@allenhuling598, you can check california based Uni filters brand if they have something available for your bike...unifilter is Australia based company...uni filter is us based
Uni filters pretty awesome mate 👍 did you not take the 15 to 20 mm off the bottom of the snorkel mate 👍🍻 hope ribs better soon mate 👍🍻oh when I did my prefilter I used to put food grade hair nets over that in some bad dusty conditions 👍🍻

I cut it off before, the internal part.
