Pawn Stars
Season 6
Episode 13
Dirty Sox
"Pawn Stars" follows three generations of the Harrison family as they assess the value of items coming in and out of their Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, from the commonplace to the truly historic.

"I know you gotta make some money so how about $1900?" 😂😂😂
HiddenLongshot LMFAO
This was super hilarious like 100 pays the rent
He had to cause he getting robbed at $600
Lmfao
HiddenLongshot I laughed so hard when he said that 😂😂😂
The absolute lowest I'll go is $1400.
Ok , I'll take $900.
And remember, the risk is ALL on me
2 years later while the seller watches this clip on UA-cam he realizes he made a big mistake!
@@jessejames9149 sells for like 3k
This is the ultimate GameStop
LosDuques lmfao😂
W
lmaoo first time I see this comment, this sir is very true
Lmaaaooooo
GameStop is worse. That's why they are failing.
Rick called in his expert 007 villain.
"this ball is worth around $2000 dollars"
Rick: I'll give you $600
Customer: I want $1900.
Well he offers that price at first to begin with because he obviously knows that the seller is going to try and haggle with him over the price and that his ultimate final offer is definitely going to end up being higher than what his original offer was, ya know?
@@poncho_x4410 we know how pawnshops work buddy
Why would a pawnshop give someone what it’s worth
@@jeremster22 Right? That's exactly the point I always make too.
expert : could go for 2,000
rick 2 seconds later : i'll give you 600
I spat my coffee when he said “$600”! It’s like c’mon man! Don’t insult the man! Lol
laser325 he should've stuck at $1500.
Rick would've gone up to at least $1100.
its just as bad really as the guy going your expert said 2000 i know you need to make money so i'll take 1900, lolol
It's called negotiation tactics.
Lmaaaaaaaaaoooooooo
Right when he said $600 I would’ve just grabbed the ball and left
i wish people actually did that in this
right? c'mon, rick
FAGGOTWARE STUDIOS forget manners if you’re not gonna pay me lol
Hakeem 34 Olajuwon I’m surprised more people don’t do that
@Open About - That's a bit childish, and I doubt you would have done.
Expert authenticated and advertised around the world on TV.
Rick: "$600 - the risk is all on me"
Savage.
One of the biggest scandals of all time..
Astros: hold my trash cans
Black Sox is still worse.
what did they do?
Trevor Michaud who Astro’s look it up it’s everywhere lol
@ekimshield asstriks is worse. Yes black Sox was playing to lose for a reason, they wanted a salary that was fair so they stuck it to the owner. What the asstriks did was cheat everyone else. They "won" without deserving it. Both the Yankees and dodgers had a better team that year. Without the cheating they would have lost to both teams.
Are you actually stupid enough to think some clowns banging trash can lids, was worse than the black Sox? Go back to fortnite kid. You are too dumb for the internet.
Rick almost laughed when he said I'm taking all the risk here
"Remember all the risk is on me" 😂😂
Is the like because it's a joke or because people agreed with the comment? 🤭
"The risk is all on me" classic Rick quote lol
Imagine actually considering an offer of less than $1,000 after hearing it’s worth twice that
And then knowing that Rick will probably ask for $2500 when he tries to shop it around..and may get that.
Another customer just got conned. Rick will get at least $3000 for that ball.
Ric Henriquez - You're absolutely right
Ric H the ball actually turned out to be a fake, the "professional" who said they autograph is real was actual a con artist.
Ric H you have no idea how this works they can’t just buy and sell something the next day
Meme Vault they have thousands of people going
Into their shop each day Im sure they could sell it easily
Call the shop, buy it for $2000, and sell it for $3000. What are you waiting for??
Customer: my gut is telling me its real.
Rick: let me call in my buddy, He's a gut expert
"The guys call me down when they are suspicious about signatures", says the suspicious man
The suspicious man who only carries a magnifying glass in a huge suitcase.
They were known as the "Black Sox" before they threw the world series. Owner Charles Comiskey charged the players to launder their uniforms, thus the players wound up just wearing dirty uniforms
2:23 "the guys always call me down when there's a body to bury"
4:30
*Guy shakes Rick's hand after sale. *walks towards the exit 😂
That kid Rony the register where they get the money is to the right of the door
This is like the holy grail of baseball scandal balls
didnt have shoeless joe
Still it's close to a holy grail
The holy grail would have been signed by the whole team...and a Pete Rose signed picture of him holding the ball😂😂
Bryan Brown that would be the holy grail of holy grails
Jba 99...Shoeless Joe Jackson couldn't write or sign his name.
This is like the Holy Grail of baseball stuff.
Mr. Brown is the holy grail of Pawn Star memes.
Are you sure about that? Let me call in an expert.....
Truly is every video has jokes
Brings in gold brick rick:best I can do is $2 I'm taking a huge risk
It's not going to sit around. Anything that makes it onto the show will fly out the door quickly.
mkf541 *throws baseball straight out door* Yep, your right. Nothing stays.
So true
True lol
If someone came in with the actual Holy Grail he'd call it "The Holy Grail of Holy Grails".
Lol
lmfaoo wtf
Balti Pasta LOL
The signatures may be genuine but the baseball dates from the mid thirties at the earliest. Up to then red and black twine was used for the National League ball (Spaulding) and red and blue for the American League ball (Reach).
1:19. hahaha
after that comment,
Ricks thinking about knocking the smirk off of juniors fat face
Mr. Brown and the black socks got along very famously
"The risk is all on me" the magic words!
Nobody beats Rick ...he is why PawnStars is worth watching 👀 knows his stuff ...quick decision maker 😅
There’s no way that dude knew those autographs were legit without using comparisons..
They need to make a Rick edition of Risk. He says it fifty times an episode.
Carlos Beltran next
The 1919 Sox were actually the 3rd highest paid team in baseball that season behind the Yankees and Red Sox
I saw with my own eyes back in the 1985 the son of a baseball card shop owner was signing Don Mattingly's signature on baseball cards and baseballs. 😐
Expert: retails for $500,000
Rick: I’ll give you $100
Don't forget, Rick's taking a huge risk!
And all of that risks is in me
this is like the holy grail of coming along famously
Mr Brown Famously got killed in Reservoir Dogs
Lol, nice.
Tommy Shelby profile pic, nice
Alex Malton By order of the Peaky fuckin Blinders !
You can see the set mics and lights at 3:36 lol.
I HATE IT WHEN RICK TELLS THE CLIENTS "THE RISK IS ALL ON ME!"
alexxkidd33 Should be a drinking game
that dudes leather jacket looks like it was picked up at goodwill on the way to the "store"
Big Haas just grabs the ball at the end!
Has anyone noticed that when rick says “the risk is all on me” people either drop out or they accept the deal? That might be his cue to them to take it or leave it
Finally someone who called them out he said the expert said 2000
“I know a buddy, name of Arnold Rothstein- let me call him down here and see what he thinks.”
Mr Brown played with this baseball famously .
David Dobrik’s Long Lost Son 😁😁😁😁 yeah brother.
Mr. Brown played with his balls famously
Can someone explain what this means? Mr brown?? It's on every video
I love watching these guys!!!
When Rick stares there is a editing
I have a baseball signed by the 1964 pirates
I have a baseball signed by ALL the players that played in the 1994 World Series...
McGannahan Skyjellyfetti you know there wasn’t a 94 ws
That Rick is such a risk taker.😁
Lmao they do NOT always call YOU down when they are suspicious about signatures!!! 😂
This was an early pawn stars episode where Rick used to pay $.35 on the dollar for what an item was worth
That guy is in deep with his loan shark
When in doubt, pull the risk card out.👌💀
Rick's wife: honey I want all 4 inches tonight..
Rick to his wife: The best I can do is only 2 inches and I'm taking a really huge risk here!
How is it Rick knows everything in the world and still needs to call experts?
Another one bites the dust...BIG TIME!!!
100 years from now you gonna have the Houston Asterisks signed baseball talked about like the black Sox.
Rick has never took risk in his life.
I always feel bad when people find out their product is fake
Dramatic Archie like this guy:
ua-cam.com/video/CN3wstLt0Mc/v-deo.html
I felt horrible for this dude. They should have sent someone to follow him to make sure he didnt try to off himself with that reproduction gun. He was a perfect example of someone at the end of their rope.
at least 3 players from 1919 white sox are on that ball, Faber, Schalk and Joe Benz who threw a no hitter in his career...wish could see the rest of the signatures
The 1919 White Sox were actually these second highest paid team in the league that year. But their owner withheld all of the bonuses he promised them. Benching Ed ciccotte for five games so he wouldn't hit his bonus.
The 1919 White Sox were the 3rd highest paid team in the AL that year.
If he really thought that rule book was real and not reprinted 😂
Mr. Brown here, recently married Barbara from Shark Tank "Barbara and I have gotten along famously for years".
Were just stopping by to say "We're out."
Expert: could be worth about 2000
Rick: alright I’ll give you $3 and a thumbtack, if you lucky I could throw in a piece of chewing gum
The black Sox would have gotten along famously with the brown Sox.
Scotty Smalls: I have this baseball signed by Babe Ruth and the rest of the 1927 Yankees
Rick: the best I can do is my sons busted up glove, I'm taking a major risk here
That's some John Dillinger stuff right there. That ball sold in a week.
Cashier:ok so u want Nike’s huh that will be 50$
Rick:I’ll give u 5$ I’m taking a risk here
Cashier:sir it’s 50$ that’s the price
Rick:ok let me call a friend that knows a lot about nike
BlakDogtionz Z Lmfao
you want to write him off, guy walks away.
600 Bucks right away...gotta be kidding me 😂
Customer:Here's an authenticated intricately carved drinking horn recovered from a Viking burial mound,it's in almost perfect condition, valued at around 50 grand..
Rick: I'll give you 50 bucks,and I'm taking a huge risk here.
I think the most accurate thing said in this show is that Rick is a cheapskate
He runs a business. Businesses need to make money
People like you will become hoarders. Retails at $2k but Rick will let it go for $1.2-1.8k and that might be months after finding a buyer.
He's running a successful business.
This is a pawn shop son
That ball is like the Mr Brown of baseballs.
haha its just like when mr.brown and i got along famously
Would have told Rick to eat it lol , I’d keep it it’s a huge history piece and well worth more than 900 . Auction it off at a major auction house .
The risk is all on me... lol
Mr.Brown pitched in the world series with this baseball very famously.
Famously, Mr.Brown and I got along, hrrrmmmmm?
I know you need to make some money he said $2000, so I’ll take $1900. Rick: who taught you to negotiate? Seller: Mr Brown.
More information has been discovered about salaries in 1919. The White Sox actually had the highest payroll in the American League that year.
Dude has like hellboy horns growing on his forehead still maturing
Mr Brown famously gave it to him as a gift
Mr brown? Its me! Ninoooo!
Dam that guy holding the microscope was shaking
Tony Roberts - Booze was wearing off. Lol
Tony Roberts yeah
It’s a magnifying glass
So its a magniscope then?
Microscope?
Rick: "I'm taking all the risk. I have to have it cleaned and framed and it might sit in my shop for 2 years. That's the best I can do."
baseball just sit lol
Remember I'm taking all the risk here. How about 600 for a 2000 dollar baseball?
Rick's risk= your lo$$
One appraiser told him two thousand. Rick is going to put it’s up for two thousand and after 90days will probably sell it for 1300 to 1500. It’s a pawn shop not a charity.
Mr. Brown was in on the fix of the World Series, famously of course...
Y.A Tittle threw a pass, I caught it all by myself. It wasn’t till years later when Mr. brown and myself played catch famously.
It's tricky to frame an autographed baseball.
The guy who he got the ball from probably was no secret the rule book was original. It was just something that would go along with memorabilia from that era is all.
9-4-19
"1919 White Sox', REALLY the Black Soxs. " Lol
Rick needs to get a signature specialist with baseballs and memorabilia most of the time these can be forged. He needs to make sure that ball is not a forgery. 1930s balls are signed with fountain pins and ink wells if a felt pen or ballpoint is used the ball is fake.
Rick "The Holy Grail" Harrison
Adriel Lopez - Rick "It's Going To Sit On My Shelf" Harrison.
Sure, if you didn't have a TV series, it would be hard to get 2 grand for it. But I'm sure someone called the week this aired and offered more than that.
The FIRST thing I noticed when they showed us the rule book was that it had white pages. It looks BRAND NEW. I thought he was tossing it into the deal as a novelty not as an antique. Any dummy knows pages yellow with time. Did the seller REALLY think it was an original 1919 publication?
Mr. Brown bet on baseball famously.
Mr.brown got along famously with that ball ⚾️
