Diesel Dave you should truly become a certified Dodge mechanic. Heck this 63 year old grandma became a Jeep engineer last winter. Just about froze my fingers off putting in a whole new computer system and wiring in my little Jeep but I did it all myself. And temps were holding at -30 below zero when I had to do all this work. No such a thing of a heated garage up here in the north. I do have to say it is so nice not to sit and wonder if the Jeep will start when I am dead tired at the end of the day at work. No more walking home for me because of little red Jeep wanted to sleep its life away. 🤣

Of course we have heated garages in the north! (Canada). You just never park your vehicle in there after driving on salted roads as heat+salt =rust acceleration. Always spray it down first!
But yeah, without a heated garage, you think us technicians are working in -45°C garages? That's a wild thought. How else is the ice suppose to melt and run down your arms into your armpits? 😂

I was 12yrs old and had a job selling USA Today subscriptions door to door. Guy would take 6-8 of us to different neighborhoods in a van Just like that! Good memories!😊

I love how you put a jug in front of the license plate when it is up on the lift but earlier in the video when you are unloading the new tires and wheels to be mounted, you get a full shot of your license plate. 🤣

Dougs dimly lit powdercoating "cave" would be hard to do good work in. And he looked thrilled that he had to rush all Daves parts
A ten pack of LED shop lights is like 80 bucks. I'd install them myself in that cave lol.

Such a nice guy, our friend Diesel Dave. Maybe DD doesn’t want to be known as a nice guy, but those things get around!
It's hard to justify spending a couple hundred bucks or close to it on some kind of magical potion in a bottle that makes your car look nice. I am on my second Tahoe now both of them black of course, first one I would spend countless hours polishing and trying to find ways not to get it dirty so I would not have to touch the paint at all. Fast forward to my second truck and I used the Avalon King like he did in this video and at first I didn't know what to expect but after all the failed attempts to keep my first truck nice I figured I would try anything. This stuff is literally a magical gift from heaven above!!! Idk how else to explain it. The most important part is that your paint has to be nice and swirl free before applying this stuff because it locks in and protects what is there so spend the time to have looking good before you apply it. After that I literally take my pressure washer and spray it down with no soap no nothing just the water alone and once I'm done I use my leaf blower that I made a custom tip for that gives it more of a smaller outlet to make it stronger of a air jet I guess you could say and that's it. Don't even touch it so swirls and scratches are no more. Plus I wash it way less then before because stuff just doesn't stick to it like before it's crazy!! If you have been on the fence about getting Avalon King jump off and get it you will not be sorry!! Any negative thing that may have been said about this stuff I can guarantee that it's because it was not put on correctly and the user messed it up. You do have to follow the directions that come with it but they are supper simple and the outcome is worth it beyond belief!!!
