For example there a particular amount umm.. 5000.and the ratio 6:2 ,6+2=8 now divide 6÷8 and 2÷8 now multiple 5000×6=3000..and now multiple 5000×2 =1000.now divide 3000 by 8=3750,and now divide another 1000 by 8=1250.. now add the both answers u will get 5000 .. now a's amount is 3750 and b's amount is 1250=5000 simple...
