Yeah from what I’ve heard from LN readers, (surprisingly no spoilers from them) where the anime ended is really just the start of the story and it keeps getting better.

You should read the books. I loved the anima they really brought many scenes to that extra level but if course there is always much more in the books. Like the fact that kurena met Lena's Dad but they both don't know it yet.

as a veteran weeb since covid 19 breakout, i confirm 86 is amazing, and maybe the best (emotional, amazing action, a little bit horror, and everything in once)

I think more then any other work Hiroyuki has done this one reminds me of kill la kill. Much of the piano music is very similar. I love both of the osts so much.

日本人ですが、仕事で聞き流せるアニソンピアノメドレーを愛用していて、飽きが来ていたので渉猟していて、このチャンネルにたどり着き、初めて86を知りました。２年以上も前の日本のアニメなのに今まで全く知らなくて、現在ドはまりしています。86を知るきっかけを頂き、感謝しています。
同じく、昨日初めて全話視聴し、涙を枯らしました。アニメとは関係ないかもしれませんが、戦争は絶対してはいけないと改めて考えさせられました。
