Wow! Wasn't expecting this to come so soon after the MMV color hack. Very nice! Looking forward to seeing the rest getting the color treatment.
Man this is kinda surreal to see, anyone remember megaman mania? It was a canceled gba port of all the gameboy MM games kinda like anniversary collection, there were screenshots of it were the games were colorized, seeing this is like finally seeing what it could have been like. Kudos

This is a decent color hack. I only feel that Elecman's stage, parts of Iceman's stage and parts of Wily's space fort had some bad color decisions, but as a whole, It's all good.

Yes, remove the purple mountain thing in Ice Man's stage. I would also love a light blue (cyan) color for the interior of Wily's spaceship.
He replaced the purple of Elec Man's stage with the standard yellow palette in 1.02.

Glad to see the first Megaman World get such love. I got a lot of enjoyment out of it as a kid.
Everybody always says MMV (GB) is the best of the 5, but i actually found it pretty weak. most of the soundtrack sounded the same, the environments weren't environmental, just regurgitated mechanical spacey looking junk, the Bosses were forgettable and it was just too easy overall.
MM: Wily's Revenge is my personal favourite, and i loved the inclusion of Enker.
MMII was the absolute worst, while 3&4 played things a little too safe.
Jumaliste! So now Dr. Wily's Revenge has also got a full-colour hack. This is great! Now I'm certain that Mega Man II, III and IV will eventually get the same treatment - which means that the long awaited Mega Man Mania is finally becoming true! Much respect to Specialagentape, whoever he is.
Let's hope the whole series gets this treatment. Specifically World 4. Also, why is Rolling Cutter so ridiculously good in this game? It's hilarious.
Everyone is better equipped at using Cut-Man's weapon than he is, even in the cartoon everyone else was better at using it lmao

After recently 5, I knew that this would happen and there's still that specialised emulator to colorize the roms also?! Can't wait for 2 but this will definitely do for now!

I remember seeing ads for a colorized compilation of the Mega Man GB games back in the mid 2000s. It got canceled and Capcom said they couldn't find the original files used to make the games so a color version was impossible.
I wonder if this hack works on the prototype? Or how about Roll-chan World?
All we need now is for Donkey Kong 94 to get fully colorized

Am I the only one here who thinks the music for Elecman's stage sounds like the song "Faithfully" by Journey?
Look up "Songs that Sound Like Elec Man" and "Everything Sounds Like Elec Man." Songs I listened to as a kid that are now on the "Classic Rock" stations.
Elec Man's stage being purple with blue electricity is not something I would've expected, but it looks surprisingly good.

I'm glad the colorize the game but is it just me or are most of the levels blue?
is it just a colorized hack or does it use the gbc extra ram and cpu speed? because it would be great if it could run as in the nes at 60 fps and not 15 fps

Capcom has a responsibility to produce the next Legacy collection with these games. Also needed is MM and Bass and I'd even be glad to play MM Soccer. I'm quite annoyed we don't have it yet. 😠
Capcom will do it if Capcom sees a financial incentive to do it, and so far it seems that is not the case for whatever reason.

That doesn't look like Cutsman stage at all.
I got my hands on the physical versions of fishyface (wilys revenge dx and V dx). Noticed, that while mmV is running well amd smoothly without slowdowns, wilys revenge gets stuck on white screen after beating the first robot master.. does anybody know about this Bug ? Havent found anything in the web..

Carts? This is a ROM Hack. Meant to be played on an emulator.

I don't recall than the scroll and Megaman was soo slow in the GB edition 🤔.
This recolor hid the mask of sprites of the stairs.
I thought the later games were faster and it was only MM1 that was slower, but I may be misremembering it...
