Don't think there are any real glitches here. Commando Man was designed with no I-frames when he got a few tiles up in the air and above. It's not a glitch, just a weird design choice

Jerry Watkins i agree but still i would have preffered MM 9 and 10 to be like 8 or better. I loved that anime style both in the curscenes and the sprites and in the general feel of the game.

I respect your opinion, and even besides the fact that 8 is my least favorite along side MM&B. All animations are exagerates, just look at the sliding or taking damage animations too, they are super exagerated. Compared to megaman 7, 7 looks super stiff, but 7 looks way better than the 1-6 classics. I like the classics, 3 is my fav, but i think megaman could use some 16 bits goodness. Also the music was REALLY GOOD. Sure retro and whatever, but no one can say megaman's 8 sound track was anything but awesome. I think they went classic for 9 and 10 because they were lazy or imcompetent and couldnt be sure to deliver a good product at the level of megaman 8 or better and retro was a trendy excuse. No one in their right mind can say the classic megamans are better than 7, 8 or the megaman X series. MEGAMAN 10. After they added Bass as a playable character, it felt like 3 different games in 1, one featuring Megaman, the 2nd Protoman, and finally one with Bass, it feels like a triple package.
I noticed there are 3 types of speedrun. RTA (Real Time Attack) : Made by human, without any tools. This kinda speedrun can be passed with TASes or by faster speedrunners. This clearly doesn't mean the game's upper limit. TAS (Tool Assisted Speedrun) : Made by human but with some tools, we can say made by some programs or computer. TAS sometimes doesn't refer to a game's upper limit. TAS can be reached or passed by another TAS. Reaching TAS's time for a speedrunner is almost impossible. FRP (Fastest Route Possible) : This is simply the belowest limit in terms of duration of any game. This needs tools, but not cheats. Everything must be both pixel and frame perfect. A TAS may or maynot reach FRP. But a human... I don't know.
They used rush jet because the locker enemies are completely random, if the TAS bot got hit accidentally it would have messed up all of it’s future inputs.
In every megaman game you can have up to 3 buster shots on screen at once. Hes firing a shot, and commando man is almost instantly absorbing it, allowing him to shoot almost instantly again. At no point during the sequence does he break the 3 shots only rule, so hes able to do it no problem.

I love watching Megaman Speedruns, but 9 and 10, those speedruns always interested and fasinated me, so much more different compare to the previous 8 titles
There's something to be said for running around, fighting robots, and then you pick up an object that gives you an extra life, while looking exactly like you, smiling at you, like you would smile at others
if i remember correctly, the most important part of a robot is their IC chip, which is stored in their heads. so it makes sense for the 1-Up to literally be an extra head, but that's pretty morbid looking either way.
How did you emulate the wii perfectly? You may need to re do this when a newer stable build comes out in case it's discovered that you used emulation glitches
Dolphin works pretty well. I also play all Wii games in 60fps in 1080p. EDIT: Dolphin also has TAS features buildt in so you can record every game frame by frame and play it in normal speed after that.

@@davidthecommenter It’s not intentional at all. His I-frames are bugged, which happens when a sprite is missing in an animation. The same happened in Mega Man 3, where if you used Top Spin while you had I-frames, it would drain the whole bar.

@Klack Koaster 10 has a better endgame stages. MM9 has 3 full endgame stages, a short burst before the rematches, then Wily. MM10 has 3 wily stages with a short Burst before the rematches. After Wily Machine they have another short burst stage then Wily. Both are basically the same length
The primary reason for finishing MM10 first was due to the quick weapon switching feature it had. MM9 didn't have this and it made the TAS feel pause heavy and choppy. Some weapon strategies took too much time to switch and were only viable for an in-game time run. MM10 didn't have this problem so all the weapons could be fully utilized.

I think it’s just for extra flair, since RushJet goes about the same speed as Mega Man’s run
