Happy Fathers Day Tim! These videos are enjoyable. It’s more interesting to watch these videos which pack a lot of sales into a small space, than to go to the auction itself. It also reinforces that on any given day it’s hard to estimate what things will sell for. I thought you and Christy did an admirable job of estimating. Fun to watch, and thanks for you and Christy doing all the leg work. Blessings.
I knew the green paint would go high, especially since inventory issues. I was surprised at a few. Christy made a good point, how much are memories worth. If it's something i drove as a kid and had good memories, id probably over pay.
Happy Father's Day Tim!!. I too enjoy checking out machinery auctions when I have time.. To bad there wasn't a couple Olivers on there to watch. Thank for taking us along on your auction visit. Great video Christy. Have a nice week.. "Hi" to Katriel. Hope she's doing well too. :o) God bless..
@@TractorTimewithTim no, that information was nice to hear. Some guys that post auction videos show the entire auctioneer BS trying to get bids then finally getting a bid then begging for more bids. I’m 51 and been going to auctions for 40+ year so don’t need to hear that speal anymore, lol.
Happy father day. Maybe could do auction video with the big equipment. Would be interesting. Love the content. My wife thinks I am nuts because I find them relaxing.
Actually fitting video for my current situation. My dad recently passed away and I don't have a need for the extra tractor (as we would do work around the house together). While I'd love to keep the 3038e, I sort of need the money to help with all the additional responsibility. As always, thank you for the informative video!
I really appreciate this type of video. I enjoy the forum that you use to do it. I enjoy your thoughts and the price guesses and then immediately after being able to see the auction and the results. I would imagine there is some time in editing this type of video and appreciate your efforts. Thank you
22:50. My Grandpa had a 1050 4x4 on the tree farm, with no loader, for most of the time I was growing up. He traded it on a 5300 4x4 with a loader after a big timber sale, after skidding a couple logs up to the barn and steering with the brakes because the front end was off the ground. My other Grandpa ran his 6-row planter, even as recently as 2000-2001 before he died, with a Ford 4000 like that one at 29:00. That's what I learned how to drive a tractor on, starting on Grandpa's lap, when I was 4-5 years old.
Great idea for a video, it was fun guessing! I got pretty close on a lot of them. Wish I would have gotten a tractor 2-3 years ago when looking at them. Prices now are insane.
a Ford 4000 SU ( special utility ).... they were a 4000 series built on the 2000/ 3000 series frame/dimensions more power in smaller size with lighter weight
Love the Auction series of videos. I think selling price is based on the old saying, "Well go buy a new one & see what you'll spend". And "new" doesn't necessarily mean "better" anymore.
The Cub Cadet had a 25hp Kawasaki gas engine and was only made in 2003. When I saw the 2155, my first thought was a hobby farmer would want that tractor compared to a contractor doing big yard repairs or tree work. Happy Father's Day Tim.
at 20:58 would be nice for me but hate the 3 point lift on it i want the 3 point lift like on the 1025r that said i am getting a 1025r hands down just looking for the right deal to pop up where was this sale at would like to go there and see what i could get and bring home
Thank you I like you video, where is the action, I need buy a tractor but first I need talk to you about tractors I live in California Temecula thanks for video 👍
I'm getting discouraged from auctions. I used to be an avid auction goer. I'm seeing things go for what they would go for brand new. Too many arm chair buyer's who don't have a clue.
Glad I didn't buy the one without the loader because like you said it's hard to find a used loader for it. I tried searching for a week for a loader. I decided to buy one with the loader from an auction.
Definitely about location. Those prices are low in our area for shure. The small trailer type tractor bring in a bunch more. A simplicity or Ariens with a bucket and rear powered attachments are going for 10g.
I'm impressed with your accuracy Tim! You won't see an Oliver because no one in their right mind would sell one. I was out tedding hay with an oliver 880 earlier this evening. It's a fine running piece of machinery
Very good video! I really like the mixture of Tims presentation and the auction of the tractors.:) Best part: Christy: No you dont, get out. 😂😂 No.2: ohoh, I shouldn´t have asked 😂😂
Love your Auction videos, very much appreciate all the editing that goes into them. Quick, to the point. I was amazed at how close you were on some, I was saying, there is no way they would get that much for that, and in a lot of cases you were within $500-$600. Overall I was surprised how some of the tractors being a few years old, went for over the original sticker price. I guess it is just a sign of what is to come. Although on the other side of that, some of the older tractors did not get to half what I was expecting.
Thanks for the information Tim. There are a couple sites that list the 5 worst types of tractors to buy. I’m pretty sure I’ve cornered that market segment. Non 4 wheel, no loader, off brand, etc. Did that and bought several. Why? I don’t even know. Was fun, but time to broom them out as I closer to 100 than 50. Yikes. I guess if I sell them real cheap they will go away. I’m still waving my camera around, and yet no money in the mail? Strange, I did try holding my mouth different, didn’t help.
I had a 1025r with backhoe, drive over 54" deck, loader. I used the mower deck one time on my 2acres had to weedeat alot more and my zero turn z445 John deere/54" deck was much faster mowing and less weedeating. I took the mower deck off and the paint under the deck still looked new. Had it almost 3 yrs , it was a 2014. I sold it for $ 14500 same price I gave for it. I sure miss it. Just the right size for anything I needed to do plus my neighbor used it more than I did. Especially the backhoe. But after 3 heart attacks, quadruple bypass I don't know if I need to invest in another one. Maybe used but these prices scare me!
I loved the video...and they way it was edited. A lot of work but very !! entertaining. Thanks Christy. I am 'not' surprised at how good Tim is at this. He failure area is clunkers that are not worth much..which he over values. Christy does not. But if it runs and has useful features he is very close to the auction price. And his knowledge of every tractor is impressive. He might be doing a little research between tractors, but that is OK. But I think he really knows this equipment. I want to see the next two auctions as we head into a recession and prices start dropping back. There will be some deals if you have the cash in 2023 and 2024.
I like this format of show, guess price, then show what it actually goes for. Especially since I’m in the market. Hoping to find a good price 4x4 7-955
Hi Tim and Christy, I really enjoyed the auction video, it’s nice to see a variety of tractors and what the selling prices are. Some of those old tractors brought back memories, I remember sitting on some of those old gals for many an hour. Absolutely love that you included a scripture at the end of your video. God bless and keep up the good work.
Used tractor prices just don’t make sense. I bought a Case IH 495 for 7k in June of 2020. I sold it for 12k in august of 2021 after being on Craigslist for two days.
I've noticed that alot of tractors especially John Deeres usually show up at auction missing the top link on three point hitches. They are either good scrap or people have to have them. Only takes about 30 seconds to remove and easily steal !
Great video Tim! I loved Christy's comment, "No you don't, get out". She takes very good care of you Tim.
That was bitter sweet and compelling to watch. Thanks for sharing Tim
I really enjoy seeing these tractor auctions
Thanks for showing the bigger tractors! Love these videos! Happy Father's day!
I enjoy the auction videos. Thanks for sharing.
I like the way you did this video with the guesses and the answers right behind!
Thumbs up Tim Very interesting video, thanks for taking the time to post.
Always enjoy the auction videos. I like how you tested the tractor out and then immediately showed what it sold for.
Tim, really like this concept and video format. Please do more like this.

Very entertaining video. It was great seeing all the older machines and the value folks saw in them.
Thank you, I really enjoy these auction videos. I like trying to guess what they will bring as well.

Thanks for posting. Liked how you shortened the sales of the tractors at the end where you basically just showed the final bids.
Would you like us to avoid the pre-auction discussion of each tractor?
@@TractorTimewithTim no, that information was nice to hear. Some guys that post auction videos show the entire auctioneer BS trying to get bids then finally getting a bid then begging for more bids. I’m 51 and been going to auctions for 40+ year so don’t need to hear that speal anymore, lol.

Thanks Tim. I enjoyed it.
Soooooo happy I found your channel. Great info as I need to learn what equipment is going to cost me before I take the plunge..... thanks!
Welcome to our channel!
Great Video.
I enjoyed an auction without having to drive an hour. The combine being lifted at the end caught me by surprise. What a great forklift that must be.
You put a fearless operator in the seat you'll usually be surprised by an equipment's capability.
That forklift is prolly good for 25k. Combines is under 20k. Tricky lift for sure!
great video thanks for sharing,, was a lot of fun, prices are just about the same with auction tractors out here in Southern California
CALIFORNIANS 🤭
Happy Father’s Day!! Interesting to see what people think things are worth. Some of those prices seemed above lot prices.
Nice video Tim. I Thought the prices were very high for that old stuff. Nice video
👍👍 have a good Father’s Day Tim.
Fun video to watch really enjoyed it. Was interesting what used tractors are going for.👍

I loved when Tim was drooling over the 790 and Christy said, the answer is ‘no’!
Happy fathers day tim
Great seeing the wide variety of tractors! The “Ford 4000” looked to be a 3000 with a 4000 decal, it was equipped with power steering too.

Another excellent video. Moving that combine looked dangerous, but also looked like a skilled operator at work.

One thing about new machines is that I can get packages with all the implements I need to start out. Plus the trailer to haul it around on.

Weird auction. The newer machines went for way over price and many of the older machines went for much less than usual.
