Fusion has improved amazingly. If it had been fighting against any bot other than Witch Doctor, that would have been a KO. I think Fusion can go very far this year.
WITCH DOCTOR damage 3/5, control 3/3, aggression 3/3; FUSION damage 5/5 , control 2/3, aggression 2/3 I GOT FUSION AS WINNER!!!what's y'all score card look like
@Raven Yo I’m rooting really hard for Minotaur honestly, they’ve been so close many times and I believe they can do it. I feel like the only bots that could be trouble for them are sawblaze, claw viper, maybe hypershock or huge. But I think Minotaur can do it this year, but we’ll see.
The best match so far this season, an absolute war between a seasoned veteran and a bot that's made great strides in reliability this year. After seeing this fight I completely believe Team Whyachi's claim that Fusion's horizontal is generating SOW levels of energy, it practically peeled Witch Doctor's front end apart. Not even Tombstone has done that much damage to it. It's a razor close decision, but I think Witch Doctor's functionality over Fusion's won out. In the end the former lost most of its wedge, its weapon and one of its wheels but was still completely mobile and managed to control the last third of the fight, while the latter lost one side of drive, its vertical spinner and could barely move. Proof that visible damage isn't everything.
But TIME is a factor. Just like there are games where you can win by time (Chess for instance), so too can you win by time in the sport of Battlebots. In this case, the cumulative damage that Fusion inflicted (within the 3 minute match) made the difference. In Battlebots, we have seen many, many other bots escape a loss because the time ran out. IMO, Team Wyachi deserves this win!
Thanks for making the battle available to watch! Definitely one of the best matches so far this season. Had the battle finished 30 secs earlier, it would've been a W for Fusion. Fair play to WD for sticking in though, took hella damage and still pulled it off!

It's a matter of who's more aggressive? Fusion who kept hitting and hitting, and still trying when his drive was all but dead? Or Witch Doctor, who kept attacking and attacking, even without an active weapon? This was _not_ a bad call, it was a coin flip. Tbh I thought fusion won since it did massive damage to witch doctor stripping off armor and tires, but I can understand WD winning with fusion having no life in it. But I also wonder how the heck fusion got toppled just by getting flipped by witch doctor.
Something that I just remembered and realized was that Fusion moved its vertical weapon batteries near the horizontal weapon so that the air being blown around helps cool it off and prevents fires. We actually see a brief snapshot of that shortly before Fusion's vertical stopped, immediately after Witch Doctor was popped up and back down on their wheels. Just a cool little detail I noticed that I think is helping Fusion stay deadly down the stretch.
@YongHong I was surprised with the decision just because WD took so much damage, but I ain’t mad with it. That was a great fight. But yeah I think fusion dying at the end was the deciding factor.
Well they had a tiny bit of fire for a second you can see it and it was the reason why the vertical spinner went down as the fire happens and a split second later the vert dies on them. Still they are much more improved last 2 seasons they could barely last 90 seconds without catching on fire and dying.

Fusion may of still been causing damage with the horizontal, but you can see they are more reacting to WD rather than actively engaging. Edit:I was right about the fight with huge so let's see if I'm right with rotator Edit:6 months late but I'm back from the dead and I was wrong with rotator
I believe Fusion can beat Rotator and Huge if its performance remained consistent. I believe the decision was caused by Fusion dying at the end. While on surface, WD took more damage, but its only external. Fusion suffered more internal damage
@@yonghong4832 the problem is fusion isn't consistent and fusion can't do much against HUGE really so it's probably going to go 2-2 or 1-3 but still make it to top 32 anyway due to performance and strength of schedule.

Tough decision. Witch doctor war clearly the more aggressive bot, and I'm sure if the fight wouldn't have gone on a little bit longer, Fusion would have been counted out as he wasn't really moving anymore. But for such a newcomer, Fusion looks really good
This is a good road you trekking battlebots. Showing actual good fights to promote the show rather than dumping here the lamest ones that will damage said shows reputation.
Witch Doctor bashes it’s face against Fusion’s weapons over and over, the entire time trailing parts across the arena. It’s own weapon being as useful broken as it was turned on. I don’t understand how the judges could have given them the victory. What, because they were still fruitlessly (desperately) trying to push fusion into the hammer?
More because at the end of the fight fusion had one side drive and at least one weapon down. So damage ended up being fairly even so it came down to aggression and control.
This was an amazing fight! I wanted fusion to go on and win it after that amazing damage output, but it just didn't have the reliability and probably would have been counted out at the end if Witch Doctor didn't carry on engaging them

@@2020catcrazy Fusion caused more visible damage, but wasn't even moving properly towards the end, which contributes more to damage score imo. I'd probably give 4/5 damage to both, since Fusion's horizontal spinner was still operational, and Witch Doctor's drive was still operational
@@2020catcrazy Well that's not who the scoring system works. You split the available 5 damage points and 3 control and aggression points. So if one team gets 5 damage points the other team gets 0. In this fight 2 of the 3 judges scored damage 3-2 in favor of Fusion and then gave control and aggression 2-1 in favor of Witch Doctor.
Extremely close (and probably one of the best matches of all time), but Witch Doctor definitely won that fight. Beyond being reliably mobile at the end, they controlled the fight even after taking significant damage. Great fight either way, though, and Fusion's looking like a far better machine this time around!
Honeslty the judges decision made no sense. The points for control, aggression and damage are 3, 3 and 5. Fusion had more control and dictated the fight in the first half and witch doctor had more control in the second half. They were equally aggressive at first but at the end witch doctor had the upper hand in terms of aggression. Almost all the damage was done by Fusion, so even if your generous with witch doctor and give them 2 out of 3 points for aggression they would still only have 2 for aggression, 2 for control and 1 for damage. Whereas Fusion would get 1 point for aggression, 1 point for control and 4 points for damage. That all adds up to 4 points fot witch doctor and 6 points for Fusion. Idk how the judges decided that witch doctor won.
@@steamytree7951 That's not how scoring works. Fusion had their weapon and drive broken, and they farted smoke, meaning something else internal failed. No way that amount of damage only gets 1 point. 1 point would only be rewarded if it was simple cosmetic damage. Witch Doctor did major internal damage. I think there's an argument that WD actually won damage 3-2, but regardless, it was 6-5 for Witch Doctor.
Maybe they did more visible damage but at the end of the fight fusion could only crab walk. If Witch doctor left fusion alone fusion might have been counted out. But by doing that witch doctor might have lost aggression points if fusion didn't get counted out.
@@diyVT This is the game you have to play as a match closes. When I'm driving my beetles the matches are usually a 3-minute bout, and at the end every little display of control matters. Those little bumps from WD not only showed that they were aggressive and controlling, but demonstrated they were entirely mobile. If they let them go the new mobility rules would mean that Fusion wouldn't have been counted out, as basically any movement is still considered to be a mobile bot.
It was definitely a close fight, but I agree with the decision. Fusion definitely won the damage category, but Witch Doctor’s aggression and Fusion’s lack of control definitely swayed the fight. It was entertaining and shouldn’t be deemed as “controversial” by Witch Doctor haters.
I honestly think fusion won but I can see it going both ways. I thought fusion won with the amount of damage it did to witch Doctor, but I understand why witch Doctor won cuz it remained aggressive and still charged at fusion. I’m guessing fusion dying was probably the deciding factor for the judges. 2nd best fight of the season IMO
That was a amazing fight! I’m a little surprised WD won because I thought Fusion was winning most of the fight but I guess fusion losing life at the end is what cost them. But congrats to both teams for this incredible fight.
This was absolutely the right decision. Witch Doctor was able to win the last 30 portion of the fight, and Fusion completely stopped moving. I think if Witch Doctor had backed off, they would’ve been counted out
If Fusion showed signs of life in the last 10 seconds, they probably would've taken it. Better to look half-dead at the end than dead-dead. Also wow, Fusion's vertical sits SO LOW to the ground.
Fusion has so much potential just its durability and mobility are the things the team should look for. Once inverted their movements were really affected. In this they can take lessons from minotaur.
I’m really hoping they didn’t score in Witch Doctor favor for that vert spinner, it was shutting down before any major attack. Seemed more like a decision than an incident. Idk just my two cents
How are you all conflicted about the judge's decision? Witch doctor's drivers played that so much better. Outmaneuvering fusion, and even using the walls to stop that horizontal. Fusion was just sitting there waiting 🥱 i'd give 2-0 in control and aggresion for WD and 3-2 in damage for fusion
Witch Doctor made a mistake keeping up the attack after Fusion lost control of one of its wheels. If Witch Doctor had left it alone it would have been counted out.
Not really. I'm sure they've got loads of spare tires, and that wedge is just short of being considered superficial damage. Whatever bent the weapon is probably gonna be the worst part.
Like the announcer said if it would have ended 20 seconds sooner fusion should have won but that last 20 seconds left fusion pretty much weaponless and immobile. Great fight I would love to see more of fusion as I love the twin weapon design.

Also I was kinda mad about the decision but it made sense in the end anyway despite how much it annoys me.
I doubt it will beat HUGE but it will do good enough.
And honestly it's a coin toss to wether or not it wins against rotator.
And good day to ya and I'll come back next week after watching the new episode.
Edit:alot of people are really mad about the decision but honestly I've never been happier since fusion actually did something for once and that's way more then enough for me.
Edit:I was right about the fight with huge so let's see if I'm right with rotator
Edit:6 months late but I'm back from the dead and I was wrong with rotator
I believe Fusion can beat Rotator and Huge if its performance remained consistent. I believe the decision was caused by Fusion dying at the end. While on surface, WD took more damage, but its only external. Fusion suffered more internal damage
@@yonghong4832 the problem is fusion isn't consistent and fusion can't do much against HUGE really so it's probably going to go 2-2 or 1-3 but still make it to top 32 anyway due to performance and strength of schedule.
The judges take into account the performance in a match when building the bracket. This impressive loss will be better for them than someone else's lucky win.
@@yonghong4832 Actually all judges scorecards had Fusin winning Damage 3-2.
However Witch Doctor swung it in aggression and control for two of the judges.
@@Jaws5573 I guess they can go for the wheels like Icewave. It would be more of an issue for Huge due to their new tegris wheels because they’re less shock absorbing
I love how the drivers of Witch Doctor are. They seem to know that if their bot can just survive the impacts, that the opponent's weapon will be weaker, therefore easier to attack straight
Best fight of the season so far, full back and forward, i have WD as my 3rd ranked bot in the field, fusion having them like that was a surprise, they climb ranks every time they go in the box.
I did think WD deserved the win, but even then fusion is incredible this season!

0:40 Fusion's vert weapon ESC giving up on life, at least we got a little bit of Fusion on fire this fight.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that.
I love witch doctor. My fav bot by far. Literally always exciting battles with that team. Cutest bot on the circuit.
Cutest bot, or Cutest bot driver?
an all time great fight. amazing showing by both bots and drivers.
5:19 - "Hey, are the judges serious?"
Dear mr editor: please upload in higher quality, I'm not sure how you're exporting this but I'm able to get much higher bitrate footage ripped offline :(
Really good fight. I would have given the win to Fusion.
Any fight that ends with significant debris is a good fight in my book
One of the best fights of all time!
More reason why I hate witch doctor. How many fights has it lucked through on the judges decision like Minotaur?
Terima kasih slow motion, itu bagian yang paling saya sukai, detil detil tembakan yang nyata didepan mata.
Which doctor is my favorite bot by far. The driving also won this fight. Michael sure knows how to drive
Tough decision. Witch doctor war clearly the more aggressive bot, and I'm sure if the fight wouldn't have gone on a little bit longer, Fusion would have been counted out as he wasn't really moving anymore.
But for such a newcomer, Fusion looks really good
Fusion has been competing for three seasons now
I'm glad Fusion didn't burst into flames this time
This is a good road you trekking battlebots.
Good job pulling the magic smoke outta Fusion, Mike!
Now consume its soul to gain its power!
This was an amazing fight! I wanted fusion to go on and win it after that amazing damage output, but it just didn't have the reliability and probably would have been counted out at the end if Witch Doctor didn't carry on engaging them
WITCH DOCTOR damage 3/5, control 3/3, aggression 3/3; FUSION damage 5/5 , control 2/3, aggression 2/3 I GOT FUSION AS WINNER!!!what's y'all score card look like
@@2020catcrazy Fusion caused more visible damage, but wasn't even moving properly towards the end, which contributes more to damage score imo.
Just wondering, what ever happened to the original owner of Copperhead? I think his name was Zach Goff.
Great battle. Fusion ran out of gas at the end though.
Fusion were on Fire. And for the first time, not literally
At 0:40 we can see their vert weapon ESC giving up the magic smoke, so we still got a little bit of Fusion fire.
Extremely close (and probably one of the best matches of all time), but Witch Doctor definitely won that fight. Beyond being reliably mobile at the end, they controlled the fight even after taking significant damage. Great fight either way, though, and Fusion's looking like a far better machine this time around!
Actually one of the most mid fight I have ever watched
This is way more entertaining than the NBA !
0:41 if u look closely there is a fire inside of fusion
Is it one of the TV programs? UA-cam only?
Tv program on discovery. It’s on on Thursday.
Thank you!
Why are videos being uploaded and then taken off?
"the horizontal spinner is aliiiiiiiive kenny" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fight of the season so far in my opinion
Fusion for me, inflicted more damage.
@@DigitalJedi I didn't realize that they updated the mobility rules.
0:40 After this hit from fusion you can see at 0:42 a little flame inside but since fusion's horizontal still spinning the flame didn't spread
wow how did u noticed that lol
4:29 The puff of smoke felt like a man coughing blood in a fight.
hard to find a match where a split decision is actually not controvertial, one could make a case for either one to win, cant be mad :V
not many bots can damage witch doctor this badly. Fusion is the one to watch out for if it can be a bit more reliable
Great battle and right winner 👍
That was a amazing fight! I’m a little surprised WD won because I thought Fusion was winning most of the fight but I guess fusion losing life at the end is what cost them. But congrats to both teams for this incredible fight.
Witch doctor knows how to win a losing fight, bravo
Was kind of hoping Fusion would win this. they got close though.
Fantastic fight. I think the commentators do a good job even though sometimes the commentary is little obvious.
Yea this one seemed biased. Definitely selling witch doctor the whole fight despite the damage fusion put out
@@TheDonkeyFLOPPER Fusion suffered more damage internally, and pretty much died in the end
I like how whenever Faruq says that there is a split decision, Team Witch Doctor is just like
“……what”
The judges got it right, but man, that was close!
Never let the fights go to the judges and expect to win
I hope so much that Witch Doctor wins this year. Both bots really took a lot of hits. Impressed that Fusion didn't catch on fire this time.
Eh, if a 4WD Vert has to win, I hope it's Hypershock
@@PrinceMeowmers Bad Parenting! :)
A robot seeing this is like a 7yr old learning about gladiating
Fight of the season so far I'd say
Fusion has so much potential just its durability and mobility are the things the team should look for. Once inverted their movements were really affected. In this they can take lessons from minotaur.
WitchDoctor is one of the most durable bots I've ever seen
What a great fight.fusion looks like a bot who is going to be a problem for rest of the field
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷Tamo aqui rapaziada
We are here in the crowd 🤗🤗
I think it would be amazing if the judges scores were announced, like other fights (Boxing, MMA, etc.)
Are mini-bots some sort of extra point or something can any one explain me what does mini-bots do
I think Fusion won in Damage, but Witch Doctor had to win in Control and Agression
Fusion could have taken out the witchdoctor.. The owner still need to improve his control more for future combat..👈🙂
So Good! I think the judges got it right.
I’m really hoping they didn’t score in Witch Doctor favor for that vert spinner, it was shutting down before any major attack. Seemed more like a decision than an incident. Idk just my two cents
Good fight. I had it for Fusion.
Great fight 💪
Maybe if he crushed the witch doctor the judges would give the victory to Fusion
Its not the real fusion if it doesn't smoke a bit
How are you all conflicted about the judge's decision? Witch doctor's drivers played that so much better. Outmaneuvering fusion, and even using the walls to stop that horizontal. Fusion was just sitting there waiting 🥱 i'd give 2-0 in control and aggresion for WD and 3-2 in damage for fusion
nice battle👌🏻
I wish the cameras would stop cutting to the teams in the middle of the battle. People watch for the bots, not the teams.
Witch Doctor made a mistake keeping up the attack after Fusion lost control of one of its wheels. If Witch Doctor had left it alone it would have been counted out.
Not this year. Count out rules have been changed. Any movement avoids a count out.
Witch Doctor may have won the match but the team will need to do some serious repairs on that bot.
Not really. I'm sure they've got loads of spare tires, and that wedge is just short of being considered superficial damage. Whatever bent the weapon is probably gonna be the worst part.
Yet another strongly debatable match
Like the announcer said if it would have ended 20 seconds sooner fusion should have won but that last 20 seconds left fusion pretty much weaponless and immobile. Great fight I would love to see more of fusion as I love the twin weapon design.
