Thank you. You gave me part of the help I needed to do a request I have. My brother-in-law thinks I should “know how to do it,” but he is in construction but doesn’t seem to know how many inches he needs off of the pants. 🤣😂

I never knew about the sleeve length. I have sewn since I was 5 years old (I'm 69) and self-taught on a treadle machine. I love sewing but I love watching others sew on ytube. I am learning a lot from you. I do some alterations for friends and family I love taking things apart and putting them back together. You are one of the first I have seen use a seam ripper correctly. I think so many don't understand what the little red button is for on a seam ripper. Thanks for all your videos.
One thing I can not figure out is how to reduce a neck on a pullover ladies shirt without making it shorter in length when you remove the excess. I wear a 4x top but the neck is so big it hangs too low in the front. if I take it up at the shoulders it makes it too short if you understand what I mean. Also my arms are short so I have to shorten a long sleeve t or sweatshirt. The shirt shoulder hands off my shoulder too far and I don't like that. Have you ever done anything like this. If you do can you make a video PLEASE thank you

I have some ideas about the neckline, but I need to think on it for a while. I'll see what I can come up with.

Was a seam allowance considered before cutting off the 4.50”? Thanks

What is the name of the cutter that you used at 3:43? Is it okay to use ordinary scissors such as Fiskar scissors?

That is a rotary cutter. Yes, you can use scissors instead of a rotary cutter. I just prefer the rotary cutter when cutting straight lines.

What stitch would I use if no serger?

If you don't have a serger, you can use a zigzag or another stretch stitch.

Decent tutorial if you're a reasonably experienced sewer (which I am). But, not enough detail and explanation if you're not. Would be helpful for many if you provided an alternative method without a serger and also alternative to double needle stitching. Or else state up front that your tutorial requires a serger and double needle. Thanks
