I have a HUGE ethnic food pantry where I keep ingredients to cook meals from all over Asia. I have a great Vietnamese market not too far from me, so I can get all of the ingredients, including fresh herbs and veggies, to make the meals you teach. I also have an organic garden where I grow my own Asian veggies!! You have a great channel. Your recipes are fun and tasty. I've cooked several of your meals for my non vegan friends and family, and they've always been a hit!! Thanks for the great channel!!!

My mom used to make so-called Mongolian hotpot--lacking horse and yak meat I'm sure it wasn't authentic--so I'm curious to see whether there's any similarity at all . . . yes and no; the procedure isn't too different. This is more to my taste, it think, but, because I can't get the ingredients right now, I'll save the recipe for later. Hope you and yours are staying safe and healthy, Lisa; TFP : )

You should be able to find some sort of Asian radish! Korean radish is slightly different but will yield similar colour. You can also just use more corn instead?
I ended up throwing in some gojiberries as i read in another recipe. I didn’t habe mushroom broth so i used some soysauce, misopaste and tamarind concentrate. Mixing up the asian styles 😅 but came out delicious! I prepared the broth yesterday and today we’re going to have the hot pot feast for new year’s celebration with my husband 🥳 thank you for the great recipe! 🤗

I just learned that you can also add soy milk (unsweeten) to make your broth creamy.
