  • Belly Rolls are a big part of belly dance, and for some come take a while to master! I am offering this video from my intermediate online course "Breakthrough Belly Dance" because I want to offer every body an opportunity to explore the belly rolls in a way that will set you up for success!
    Trust me! I have taught many students who started from nearly no ability to move their stomach to fully belly roll! So much of it has to do with how you prep and train the internal muscles, and how you learn to separate your breathe from the movement.

    When approaching the belly I suggest:
    ~ Relaxing the belly as much as possible
    ~ Learn to accept your belly, exactly where its at. This is the first step to full accessing it and releasing stagnation.
    * Stomach stagnation can show up as:
    - Being unable to relax muscle - being bloated or inflamed - feeling stuck in emotions - being indecisive and/or not trusting your intuition - constipation - menstrual cramps - and more
    * The belly houses our vital organs and plays a hug role in overall health and happiness.
