good on you for mentioning RAYE. she’s definitely my breakthrough artist and i’ve been obsessed with 21st century blues… and genesis dropped and i couldn’t stop listening to it
So underrated. She personified the "reference it, not reference it, put it in a blender, vomit on it, give birth to it", but the world was not ready... A masterclass in pop music, really

I really love Chappell tho and I think she has her own unique sound. I hate it when people compare her to other artists. Like oh, that sounds like a Taylor Swift song or an Olivia Rodrigo song. She's so much more than that.😭😭

@realestsienna well, her cheating on her partner as well as cuckolding a household with a newborn is extremely selfish behaviour... And after the whole storm, she comes out saying "me and my truth we sit in silence" as if she was the one misunderstood, and that she didn't do anything wrong. Unfortunately with previous songs like "break up with your girlfriend I'm bored" we know that Ariana doesn't care about others' relationships, so even if she eventually denied that both couples were still together at the time of the affair, we don't even know if she can be trusted. Great song, amazing vocals, abysmal ethics.
