So I've played through "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" semi-recently and streamed some of it on the podcast discord. And even though some of it felt obtuse, the game was really good for its time! Like, the way it even references the book and gives you a new ending, the ending isn't inherently happy. Thinking back to this episode, this may have been the reason I even looked into the book and the game
The song "Somehow, Someone Remembers" from Ragnarok Battle Offline disappeared from UA-cam once and I ended up having to rip it out of the goddamn game myself, so I can feel it.
I played evolve for an hour, failed every mission outside of the tutorial because I didn't know at all what I was doing or how to do it. Good thing it was for free on Xbox
A.M is like if the 'Angery' emoji came to life and wanted to punish humanity for using it on shitty facebook articles, I feel like that's the real backstory, fuck what Harlan Ellison says.
MOBAs I enjoyed: DoTA, DoTA 2, Smite, and Minimum or whatever that blocky shooter one was. It's dead now but it was cool. LoL Felt pay to win. Blatantly terrible cheap heroes and blatantly broken ones that costed much more. To win just buy newest hero while it's still super expensive and they won't patch it to be balanced until about a week later when the price drops.
Smites hero pricing is a little weird too, but new heroes aren't always broken. Like Amaterasu wasn't broken at all on release; and the other game modes make the game way more playable than a lot of mobas. Haven't played any in a while because of work though. Maaaaan. You guys are instilling the MOBA madness in me again.
LoL isn't pay to win at all ( at least not now ). There isn't really a correlation between the power of the hero and the price. Annie and Ryze are super cheap but are actually good champions. Playing a strong champion does not guarantee a win because its a team game, if your team sucks they will drag you down no matter how good you are. I'm not saying this as a LoL fanboy, I play and love a lot of MOBAs like DoTA, DoTA 2 and Smite. I just don't agree that LoL is pay to win or even feels like it
When I was really little shit didn't scare me; it just went over my head. However, once I could use the internet I read creepypastas and was very very easily scared by anything vaguely visually startling. I had constant nightmares about the Enigma of Amigara Fault for 3~4 months after reading it in 7th grade. I had had nightmares about Noo-Noo from Teletubbies through like fourth grade; still can't explain that one.
horrible MOBAs? you mean all of them?

clearly the spookiest things in existence:
90's point and click adventures
assigned 10th grade reading
"Ain't done nothin', George. Jus' strokin' it."
Evolve's lore was the best shit I've seen in a while. It's a god damn shame that it had to be in a failed game.
CIA 4U Another shame is that the gameplay is actually pretty good.
Man, I really like the "I hate myself" Where can I hear a full version?
Sounds like Bill Wurtz. What you're hearing is the full version, he makes tons of mini-songs.
Just search Bill wurtz I hate myself

You had me at pelvic-thrusting disco ghosts.

I want you both to play Deadlock and revisit MOBAs again
It's been cool to see how deadlock has already changed within the alpha
Tad I wonder if you were named after the kid in Cujo.
Nope. Abe Lincoln's kid! But I remember being surprised when I read Cujo in highschool
I can't think of anything else to say, so just thanks for responding.
My name is Tad too. I can't believe Cujo kills me. :(
Correction: In "Cask of Amontillado" Fortunado gets sealed in the other's guys wine cellar.
what video do you guys talk about I have no mouth and i must scream?
why is there always just a single image for the whole video?
because it is PodCast.
PodCast
Alex is absolutely pissed in the beginning of this episode before he is able to start talking about Bloodborne. I guess he doesn’t like Stephen King.
Dark souls 2 was garbage. B team at its finest

Dota 2? Just toxic waste teammates whenever I try and play it.
I think the only reason LoL could be considered ptw is because of how horribly expensive it is to get a good rune setup and a bunch of rune pages.
Shalafi Amd now they're reworking runes so now they're free, but they have more affect on the game.
Needs more subs
adventure time battle party is the best game ever made, nerf jake
