true, but I doubt he will, since he saved his life and all. However if they do fight I think even luffy will struggle. Some people want zoro to fight instead
Lol why are ppl making such a big deal out of this? The way the anime portrays the fight actually makes more sense than in the manga. Zoro is still fighting underwater so there should be some sort of a disadvantage. Can't make the guy seem all god mode. Either way he still dominated this fight. The fact that its a little longer doesn't make Zoro a wimp. The manga probably just shortened the scene to save space.
Actually I think a fight between Lucci and Hodi would be close ( after his transformation). I mean think about it, those pill would have increased his strength exponentially and he showed it with his water bullet that cut through Neptune and the entire island. It only emphasizes how much Luffy has improved, which makes perfect sense since he was Rayleighs student
They have to make stuff go longer in the anime to fill up time. If they did everything at the same pace as the manga, the episodes would eat up too much of the story and would catch up to the manga too quickly. Remember, the manga always comes first.
As Villain, Hody is kind of disappointing - at least as far as his stength is concerned. He gets defeated easily by Zoro here... later, he got a Bazillion Times stronger but was still not really a match for Luffy. Same goes for his Crew. They're surely stronger than any Group the Strawhats fought against before (including CP9), but the SHs got so insanely powerful that they really were nothing short of a Pushover. Gives me the impression that the SHs are kind of overpowered right now... ;)
When I watched this I was pretty pissed off that they almost showed it as though Zoro was struggling against Hordy. But at least they kept the 1-hit. Still...would have been better with just the 1-hit, but you can't always have what you want :(
Yes lets do it your way, lets keep everything like the manga. That wouldn't be a bad idea at all, I don't care if your comment is 9 years old, its still fucking stupid.
@@blastortoise Look, I get adding more scenes in the anime as not everything has to be a 1-1 transition between manga and anime. Frankly its a good thing most of the time, as it gives context, increases tension, and most of all allows for the anime to not catch up to the manga, by way of stalling for time. However, the issue I have with this and further scenes in the anime if that it changes the intended context FOR the original scene. Here, it seems as though Hordy actually put up a struggle against Zoro. Had they gone about it differently, say Zoro completely dodge everything and THEN end him with his 1-shot, I don't think I'd have issue with this. This is especially an issue within Dressrosa, as the anime comes to a crawl and start changing the given context of the scenes. I won't elaborate any further as if someone has watched it yet, they'll be spoiled but regardless the point still stands. For scenes where this isn't an issue, look at Wano and the most recent anime episodes, which again, add scenes to further elaborate on a given panel in the manga WITHOUT changing the context of it.
@@blackluster901 There are anime only people, some of them want tension. Yeah we all know Zoro could kill Hordy very easily now, but a first time viewer who only watches the anime might not think that, considering its usually Luffy who fights the #1 you'd have no reason to think Zoro can win, thats what makes his victory great
Its mostly like more that, they are dragging out the anime, slowing it down so it doesnt become a bleach accident, where the anime catches up to the manga and it stops completely except for the manga
I hate all the unnecessary fighting under water, i find it makes zoro seem weak. In the manga zoro went under water and sliced hody like it was nothing. In reality hody was a joke zoro.
@@blastortoise I don't remember the context of my comment. I do read the manga first and sometimes search for the animated fight. I think my comment is related to how in the manga Zoro wins instantly but in the anime they try to show some kind of struggle.
@@matosz23 I think its better in the anime, remember Shu from the manga? Comes in and destroys Yubashiri and doesnt talk at all and just is gone forever? In the anine he gets a little more screen time. Or how about Daddy Masterson? Oda wanted to make that canon but didnt have time. Sometimes the manga makes things boring or doesnt give context to a situation
Are you serious? Zoro´s, Luffy´s, Ussop´s, Sanji´s or Robin´s training wasn´t peaceful at all!!!!!! Training with the Dark King (how did he get that scar), training with the best swordman (how come he lost an eye), training in danger of being eaten, spending time with the revolutionaries, or living in the okama island (need I say more). You are taking credit from the Mugiwaras and I strongly believe Luffy/Zoro would wipe the floor with any other Supernova right now. Peace.
"I'm passing out!" *proceeds to kick ass*
Roronoa Zoro, ladies and gentlemen.
Zoro - "Kill a Fish-man underwater? pfft That's not even a challenge... "Request accepted"
水の中で副船長に負ける魚人が章ボスはいくらなんでも弱すぎるってw
当時はつまらない魚人編の数少ないワクワクした場面ではあった
i hope you get more views man because that was shishi-like quality, keep em comming
And this... is why Zoro is awesome.
LIKE A BOSS!!!
bro almost ended this arc way earlier

Actually, Rob Lucci claps Hody
@@kimee21its a 12yr old comment dude, they don't know about lucci's df awakening, or even the term awakening lmao
You make it sounds like Hody was strong, he was weaker them Usopp.
i like this
k thx for the added info? ....lol
man fighting with one eye and still block all those water bullets
Yeah. Well, THAT ONE is going to be a much bigger Challenge... if he's going to fight against the Strawhats, that is.
Just O M G !

新世界一発目の肩慣らしか
鰓呼吸ができるのは良いとしてどうやって声出したてんの?
if you can hear zoros theme you know you are fucked

To be honest after G5 i like Zoro more.
I have you read the latest manga chapter
he is such a badasssssssssssssssssssssssssss
GOOSEFLEEEEESH! Ittōryū Iai Shishi Sonson! (Y)
I knew anime would fuck up this fight.Like Whitebeard vs Akainu and Blackbeard.
i wonder what other moves Zoro have
I hate that the anime made zoro look weak... in the manga he goes down and then one shots him under water
One dislike must be Hody
Personally i think zoro has a sharingan
ITZ ZORO!
Stupid watermarks and whatnot all over the vid... -.-
Anime made Zoro look less badass here. In Manga it took him one shot, like @theC9PTAIN said

well stop mixing me with your mom
ok, I skipped to 1:13 since I hate how the makers of the anime prolong fights making the badass character (Zoro) look like a wimp!
It doesn't, calm down buddy, did the 9 years since you post this allow you to dry your tears? Just read the god damn manga if you're so upset.

zoro could easily defeat a vice admiral. For example momonga
This shows that Hordy is no match to Luffy haha
