'Frustrated' Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak calls for ‘more sensibility in regulating’

Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has urged the game’s administrators to show “more sensibility” in how they regulate football finances.
Khaldoon made the remarks in an in-house interview recorded last Saturday, prior to The Times reporting on Tuesday that City had issued a legal claim challenging the validity of the Premier League's associated party transaction (APT) rules.
In the same interview, Khaldoon admitted it had taken "longer than anyone hoped for" for the 115 Premier League charges against the club over alleged breaches of financial rules to be heard.

Be sure, PL is going to cut a deal with Man Cheaty. They'll get away with a slap in the arm. Probably a token fine and transfer ban for a season or two. But if this were a smaller club, they would've been thrown out of football league at least.

Commercial deals with affiliated companies are the conduit they use in inflating deals and claiming they are spending from what they make. Citeh and by extension, Real Madrid, PSG deserves our censure, because they are anti-competition.

The leveraged buyout mechanism that the Glazers used was banned after they did it. The only way you can go with City's idea is to get rid of relegation. If you remove the rules, then every EFL will get relegated the next season. Finance rules were changed after Portsmouth, and changed again after Abramovich. The clubs all voted on this because they are a democracy. City want to unilaterally change the rules to suit themselves because they've been flouting the rules for years.
