It takes a lot of restraint to not use your bass or crash on 1...🥁🤯 It's also crazy to have the bass and the downbeat on 3. I find it's easier to just find where the bass goes and space them out equidistantly once you're locked in....(So much harder to play than I would've thought 😆) Thank's Eric!

In lick 2 and 3 you don't play the note following the open hihat with your stick as it is written. You start lick 3 with playing that complete triplet but then you change it. It's cool but it's not what's written.

Good catch! I decided to leave it that way because sometimes I will play it without opening the hi hat and play the first triplet with the stick rather than with the foot. Both work and both versions can be played! Good reading though I should I mentioned that so it’s not confusing

That HiHat Feel Only Apply To Very Slow Rockers//Reggae, And They're Much More Itrecate Rockers/Reggae Hi-Hats Feel, And That Feel You're Playing Is The Easiest And Most Commonly Used, You Should Check Out The Pros Of Rockers/Reggae Drumming, And You'll Realize There's Much Much More To Learn About Rockers/Reggae, ,,,Ps,,, They're Other Much Greater Hi-Hat Grooves In Rockers/Reggae, Plus You're Not Qualified To Teach Rockers/Reggae, You're Not Known As A Certified Rockers/Reggae.
