I was 10 years old when this was on the Disney Channel, and now that I'm 28, the one thing that still stands out to me is the song "Hop To It". After all these years, I still love this song!! Thank you for putting this on UA-cam. Maybe next time you could just have the song!!
I've watched this around 100 times since I found it last week. I forgot all about this show and I love it so much. hope it gets a remaster and disc release!! Hop to it!
and i had know idea that Woody Harrelson was in this movie as the lamb isn't it amazing that movie makeup can make people look different from what they really look like
@SerenityBane Same with me Serenity. I loved this movie as a kid and I too taped it off of disney channel when I was younger! Now that I watch it at almost 30, I can still recite almost every word to this movie. This is goofy as an adult to watch, but for a kid it was golden entertainment! It is better than most of this iCarly business that the kids have to choose from today. Oh well, Thanks to this movie being put on youtube, and modern technology...we may have never seen it again.
I am surprised that martin short was not even one of the guys dressed up in yellow and tutus or whatever during the dungeon scene and I couldn't disagree more with whoever thought that neither one looked anything like him....until the end credits I was so sure I was going to see that he had played both parts or at least one of those guys in yellow....instead the guys were actors I don't even know.
What do I like about this sparkling entertainment? Where do I start? The costumes kicked butt! (I loved BoPeep's skirt, Miss Muffet's dress, and Gordon's jacket and hat at the end) LOVED the dancing and the music, both insrumental and vocal LOVED the dialogue, esp Gordon's snarky manner ("wackos with the 5'o clock shadows," for example) LOVED the satirization of beloved childhood verses and sly little pop-culture sendups A true delight for young, old, and everyone in between
Dude none of my friends know what I'm talking about. I'm confused didn't they grow up in the 90's to? Its amazing I can't remember a lot of my childhood but I remember this movie VIVIDLY. I love it, maybe thats when the artistic style bloomed :P
This has never been shown in the U K and is excellent.Reminded me of another great movie Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band-same naming of characters from the album and musical guest stars-a story line which is close to Yellow Submarine
Imeant to ask if the other characters played by Randy Jackson and Katy Sagel were on the version that was on video. Anyway, I'm not sure who Randy Jackson played in Mother goose Rock N' Rhyme, but I DO know that in the other version, Katy Sagel played Mary Mary Quite Contrary.
That was really GREAT!! BTW, if this is the tv version, are the other two character, (played by Randy Jackson and Katey Sagel), are on the version that was on video, right?
This is one of the best kid movies I remember watching this when I was little and literally has one of the best casts, you guys need to remember it's not for prick adults it's for kids so stop wasting your time righting bs on here, it's great for what it is, a fun movie with a caste from zz top, blondie, little richard, to simon and garfunkle it's pretty impressive! Thank you for posting this from start to finish, I just got done watching it :)
hey thanks for uploading this the full thing and believe it or not this was my FIRST TIME seeing this i remember seeing the trailer as a child and i've always wanted to see it s thanks
Maybe you don't know, but I'm from Cuba (and i am there right now). That musical movie was aired when i was 5 or more and I love all that soundtrack. It kept in my mind for years. Thanks to youtube i can be a 5 years old kid again. THANKS INTERNET THANKS UA-cam
I am 24 now, and I have to say that our generation lucked out. This was so awesomely fun and interesting, lacking the sterility of children's TV today.... ahhhh! I am so glad I watched this a million times when I was little! :)
This is awesome! i have been looking for this movie forever! can't find it anywhere on DVD. Thanks for posting this on YOutube, i watched it from begging to end. AMAZING! brings back old memories :)
Yea! What a gem to find this on youtube. Thanks for posting. I had this taped off the Disney Channel years ago and wore that poor tape out. I sure did love this movie as a child...heck, I probably still do now and I'm nearly 30. It's amazing to see so many others who remember it. When I try to describe it to people, they usually give me strange looks. It's nice to see others who not only know it exists but like it, too. Thanks again!
Can i just say how awesome it was to find this really did exist and was not just a figment of my childhood imagination. I just re watched the entire thing. THANK YOU!! :D
I used to watch this every time it came on TV as a child. I love this movie! And just watched it today again today with my husband who saw it for the first time. And he thought it was funny, too! :D
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS! This was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I have not seen it in so long. I taped it off of the TV way back when, but my mother taped over it. Now that I look back, no wonder I am the way I am today. This film is trippy in a wonderful. I never realized how much humor flew over my head back then. Shelly Duvall was fricken hot as Bo Peep.
Katey is in this version if you watch the earlier parts of the vids this guy put up. But I always wondered who or where Randy Jackson was.. Someone told me that he was one of those rock members in the dungeon?

who are the three singing guitar blondes? I vaguely remember them from the early 90's in a 15-minutes-of-fame way

I think that scene was added when it got released on video. This is the TV version.
