WOW. This boss took me WAY too long to complete with my companion and even longer on my solo run. Holy cow. That was impressive as hell. I loved the parries in the dodge stage. Something I could never pull of. Amazing stuff!
The beauty and cleanliness of this fight is out of the world. The parry is just too good it's like ur eyes didn't get blurry at all after his blood pool move. Mine did and i always die after that 'because after i can only see red and can't dodge or guard his combo on time 😶 this boss is worst than queen's knight and pole dancer
Second phase is truly insane. Did you get good rng, or can you consistently beat him no damage? I can do the first phase, but in second he immediately destroys me. At level 1, I mean. Though this video was made a long time ago, some things might have changed with later patches.
I didn't even consider partying. I beat him a year ago and I just couldn't remember how I did it. Normally I just Hulk smash everything with my Zweihander and that's that. This time it's not working out so well, even with the previous playthrough knowledge.

Didn't know you were a souls fan, and challenge runner. I do sl1 ng7 no hit n shit so I have respect for this. Good to see you understand damage management to make certain phases more manageable.
i assume this game has been updated to make it much harder. the fact the health bar is moving with such small amount of damage is curious. i do 2-3000 per hit and it barely budges. i've seen many vids like this from "4 years ago" and the ease at which some things are done don't add up. AI is far more unpredictable than swipe dodge swipe dodge.
