- Autobahn acceleration run with the all-new 2019/2020 Mercedes-AMG 4-door (4 Türer) GT 53! This particular car has that nice 3.0 R6 Turbo which delivers 435hp & 520Nm of torque (total weight: 2.045 kg). Happily this GT53 also features the optional AMG-Performance exhaust (the only 53 which can be ordered with it) and the epic looking V8 Styling Pack! You know that I am a big fan of the 43s and 53s and this one is spot on what I expected and a worthy option to the 63s, imagine that 43 is sounding exactly like this costing 70k less than a 63s!!! 0-200 over 17 seconds... GTR 0-200 in 9.8... thats why I think these cars with the 6 cylinders should not really have the AMG tag. 100-200 12.5, AMG GTR is 1/2 that... BIG difference

So my 540xi powerand sound 350hp and 510nm dyno made 4.8s 0-100 and 100-200 in 12.85... now woth 410hp and 600nm is making 4.5s and 11.3s. I dont understand why e53 is so slow. They should have better performance...
Cause it is heavy , if you chip tune it to 500hp it will be much much faster ;)
@@manoszervas9613 Woth chip tuning stage 2 or 3 and OPF filter removal it would be almost as good as the GT63 AMG, would be able to do 0-100 in 3.7-4.1 seconds and top speed would be 290-300 km/h.

The time from 100-200 is for that Power to Slow! A lot different Cars with that power are mutch faster! I love Mercedes but the 53 models are for 455 HP to slow! For example the BMW m340i with 370 HP needs only 10.5 second from 100-200!! 🤷♂️ 2 Sec faster this is a big differenz
The 3 series is a different class of light weight car with way less luxury. This is heavier than the equivalent 7 series (740 with that same engine).

@@yousef.al-assaf 0-100 does not tell you so much about power anymore. Many cars with 150hp less can achieve this. How it pulls at higher speeds is more important

With its hybrid powerplant, it shouldn't be an issue. No turbo lag, instant torque at low rpm. Sounds good to me.

The 2019 CLS is just a failure, the headlights are from an A class, the back is ugly, the AMG GT is the car which the cls tried to be
