Challenge : make a car that just works perfectly, doesn’t spin out when you lightly tap the gas pedal and doesn’t explode after rolling 3 meters (impossible)
Fun fact. Ford, Australia is not fully dead. They still design cars to this day, such as the new Ford Ranger. And Ford Everest. Meanwhile, General motors have completely abandoned Australia.
But in the end, despite being designed in Australia, they are still all made in a certain Southeast Asian country full of ladyboys. Doesn't sound very Aussie, doesn't it?
2 ideas: Make a car that produces as much fumes as possible Or have a car with *THE MIGHTY 1.9 TDI* with teimo in the passenger seat (Edit: holy hell i didn't think this would work)
Yes in Australia we have dedicated LPG although I don't think that's been common practice for 15 years or so now and also duel fuel. I'm not a fan of gas though, runs the engine drier which wears valves hence why they make upper cylinder lube kits which yse engine vacuum called moreys power booster. I run UCLS in my fuel anyway but for lubricity and slight power increase Also you need good converters otherwise you will lose power in the high rpm and you need to use alot of it which ways out the cheap cost
Hey hey hey hey, us Aussies make automatic drivers feel less Australian at every opportunity possible. Other than that minor gripe, damn you did a good job making a true-blue bogan mobile.
as An australian the most inaccurate part is it not being decrepit and rusty with paint peeling off, and also didnt have cobwebs on the mirrors or something.
fwiw, if you have problems with terminal oversteer(the rear slides out), widen the rear tires and/or narrow the front tires. think like how american hot rods have wide rear tires, and comparatively skinnier front tires. it was to give an arguably ancient(and very light) body style that didnt come with a lot of power from factory far more controllable when people put a heavier 500hp V8 in the front. suspension has an effect on handling, sure, but tire width nearly directly affects grip.
Make a car with an engine modeled after a ship/utility engine. An inline 6 or 8 with low rpm and as much displacement and size as possible. The engine only has a very small RPM variance and has to do most of the accelleration through the gearbox.
I have a few Automation build suggestions: - The world's fastest American school bus with a quad-turbo V16 engine - A V8 pea car from the Birds Eye advert - The most Korean car possible
1:02 I actually have this exact model of falcon ute and trust me I love it you can use it as a pool during summer 😂😂 but it is also nice to have a ute to go get parts but anyways big fan of the channel love your content
I asked both my closest Aussie friends about Utes after watching this, both agree that their Utes have been the most reliable and fun vehicles they have ever owned. America only has a few Utes, the Chevvy El Camino and the Subaru Baja come to mind. I wouldn't mind a baja if it wasn't impossible to find nowadays.
When i played forza horizon 3 for the first time..i was impressed by the incredible amounts of UTEs holdens and etc..man i liked it..(i'am a brazilian btw.)

Now, we need a Brazilian Car. A good example is the 1968 Chevrolet Opala. The Opala was produced since '68 to 1992. Having the 2-door version, 4-door and Station-Wagon. Of course, having a 6-Cylinder V8. The 2-door version stop being produced in 1988. Its name was mix between Opel and Impala, was inspired by the Opel Rekord and the Chevy Nova. We also had a urban legend about a Ghost Black Opala. The myth says that a gangster from Rio in the 80's, jacked a Black Opala to evade the cops, but, unfortunately, crashes the BR Muscle Car against a VW Beetle inside of a Tunnel. Then, the car shows up again every night inside of the tunnel. If you don't pray for the victims of that accident, you will be the next one to lose your life behind the wheel. The other myth is about the same car, but kidnapping kids that doesn't obey their parents and stealing them organs. But, it's just myths. The Station-Wagon version that i said earlier, is named as Chevrolet Caravan. Originally, the General Motors was planning to release a Pick-Up Truck version of the car, but, got cancelled. And another curiosity: the Opala was the first car ever made by General Motors in Brazil.
4:11 "Much like the Americans the Aussies haven't unlocked that skill yet, driving a manual." Bro the Hurst Shifter was literally a thing already in the 60s.
As an Australian, I can confirm the reason our car industry failed was you had to buy a car with actual money and not by interlocking our fingers in a V shape and shouting "VEE ATE VEE ATE VEE ATE"

Video idea: make an car with James May sound effects as the engine sound and make the engine rev really high.
I feel grogs pain. Because I also wish our countries got the cooler cars and yet we get boring cars like for example: “TOYOTA Prius”
GrogTV, you are still:

So the UTE is basically what the souls of Chevy El Caminos get reborn as in the rest of the world.
