Oh god, yes, the 'are you my mommy' kid to me was the most terrifying monster in the entire Doctor Who series. I still have nightmares of this kid. Mind you, I'm 50 years old and saw every single episode of Doctor Who. This one stirred something in my sub-consciousness I can't get rid of.
I couldn’t brave watching that episode for 6 or so years after it came out? I tried watching it as a kid and just couldn’t handle it and then couldn’t bring myself to even attempt a rewatch for a long time haha
Fun fact! The Are You my Mummy ep & the weaping angels ep was written by Stephen Moffat, the writer who would go on to write Matt Smith's Dr, and ruin the series for me :) I hate him :) But he is a great episodic writer, just not a great series writer imo Also he's weird about women

You could play the Just Dance Kids version all you wanted, but I thought the Gummy Bear looked like a drunk, mainly because of the stubble. I also hated the Crazy Frog video, because of his weird little dingaling. Why did they include that as part of his design
We used to have crazy frog ripoff version where it was just badly edited rainbow flashing lights and a picture of a frog on in pe and we had to dance to it

Have that to thank for my fear of gas masks 😅 Saw it first as a young child who didn't quite yet understand that not everything was real, and for a good while was scared if I ever saw a cut on someone's hand, because the gas mask people had a cut on their hand 😂

Mr Blobby was on Noel’s House Party, which was a Saturday evening show for the whole family, so it doesn’t really qualify as a kids show. I agree he was freaky, especially the voice which was from the 9th circle of hell.

When I was a kid, I was absolutely terrified by this character in danish books and childrens movies called Snøvsen. Basically, it's a little hellish creature resembling a human, but it has no arms, a single leg and a single toe, and it just hops around after people. I HATED that thing

When I was a kid, I was absolutely terrified by this character in danish books and childrens movies called Snøvsen. Basically, it's a little hellish creature resembling a human, but it has no arms, a single leg and a single toe, and it just hops around after people. I HATED that thing
