Thanks, I know the perfect fix: I won't be opting for the fiberglass base. Also, was there even any dry pack supporting that base? Something definitely caused the crack to begin with

Paint ? Isnt the shower pan gel coat ? I wouldn’t think spray paint would stand up to daily use of a shower . Did you sand the entire bottom section before painting ?

My shower Trey was 6 years ago but about 4 months ago I noticed there was a crack halfway around the actual drain.
It doesn't seem to be any support around the drained so I guess that why it cracked in the first place.
Can I fix that with what you are showing on this?

Do you need a mat if it’s for cracks if the cracks are on the sides of the inside of the tub?

Are fiberglass shower pans more susceptible to cracking in pier and beam houses that inevitebly move a bit here and there? My shower pan just cracked and I heard a contractor say fiberglass pans sometimes will crack on pier and beam houses that move a bit.

I am on the process of buying a house and i noticed that there is a crack, i am not sure how long it has being cracked. You think that water could have gone through and created mold on wood?

do you have any videos on repairing a crack on the side wall specifically in the area where it contours? I have 1 crack about 7 inches long, contacted some companies to repair it and they all came back with wanting to reglaze the entire tub which is perfect already aside from this 1 crack and their quotes were astronomical. Can you recommend a reputable company that is nationwide. I live in San Diego, California. I may attempt this myself but I'm wondering if it's more challenging in a corner area and whether I need to drill or foam because its not in the basin area where someone stands. Please link a video to a repair job and/or refer me to a reputable company such as yours that won't rake me over the coals. Thank you

Hey! Your videos have been a great help, thank you!!
Question: Do you have any experience using muriatic acid to etch porcelain? Is there anything I can purchase at a home depot / Lowe’s / sherwin Williams to etch a tub, without having to order products online?
Also krylon tub and tile is nearly impossible to come by where I’m from (Michigan), I’m using a 2 part krylon enameled epoxy that’s a satin finish, but it’s not ‘tub and tile’. Thoughts? Do you have any more readily available alternatives you can suggest?
If you had to do a tub tomorrow, and had to buy everything in store on the same day. What would you buy to etch and paint it?
    THANKS AGAIN ❤️❤️

The holes on each end of the crack is to stop it from continuing. Same principle as to fixing a stress crack in metal before repairing with a weld.

The links don't match the products you've used in the video. In the video you don't use the same names for the products as in the links, so its hard to guess exactly what you're doing/using. There are WAY more links than products used or mentioned. Also FYI background music isn't helpful, its distracting. It looks like you know what youre doing, but its not conveyed in a precise manner.
