Animal style inspired thousands including me to start drifting and to drive hard with good style. Julian is a legend and I hope he gets well soon and starts feelin better so he can finish his silvia!
Not sure if you guys already have a merch line but if you guys were to start up another, I would gladly purchase some merch to help Julian and the gang
I'm rooting for you guys like no ones business. Really hoping Julian starts to make more positive headway with his health and the like. Bummed I waited so long to try and get some HeatMaker B Knuckles and now that I'm ready to pull the trigger things have slowed down on the production side of things. Fingers majorly crossed that has a chance to pick up again! Shout out to you guys! Really inspired me to actually get out and drive and stop dreaming about it.
I really like the realness of this episode.. I really appreciate the sincerity of this one. Everyone has their own struggles, and this small community helps alot of people through these tough time's. Again, keep up the solid wor. Thanks, guys! -Mike from Canada eh 🇨🇦
Love the wu tang reference. I’ve had to explain that same thing to people when they ask “how you afford drifting?” You gotta have tire plug, welder, painter, etc.. it takes the whole crew to make drifting possible.
1:16:30 Aaron only does private days at evergreen, never travels to other tracks in the PNW. I know a lot of drivers ask why Aaron doesn't even do comps or do public events. Usually that question pops up in a group setting, "did you see that flashvm clip" "yeah i never see that guy drive". So we never see him drive unless your in the small circle of people that do private events with him. This is from my perspective as a former media guy and non-comp driver. For me, I'd love to watch him at a public event.
Such a good Podcast! Definitely would like to see more, when possible. Animal Style changed my life for the better and helped ignite my passion for drifting and pushed me to grow as a mechanic, person, and driver. I've taken so much away from all of you! Wish you all well! Much luv from CO!
1:40:30 oh there's definitely a lot of young kids that hit up takeover spots to learn before they embarrass themselves at a track. its still some outlaw shit for the newcomers
Could Julian also be Gluten intolerant? Wheat is literally in everything, especially in the US. The most common grain, it can cause inflammation. I experimented for a while with Japanese cuisine, dairy free, because asian cuisine normally has rice grain over wheat. I later found out that I'm lactose intolerant. But after doing research on gluten intolerance, I decided to consume less of wheat based foods.

He likes private days because he can pick the layout and he gets way more track time. It’s nothing more than that.
awesome episode, wish you the best Julian!
