After years of searching for this shoe I put it on the back burner because the price was way to high at the time. For a while and kinda forgot about them and decided to go for other things. I stumbled across one of your earlier sneaker rotation videos with your Futuras and they look so amazing you kept them looking really nice for the age! Luckily I found a pair on eBay that’s on the way. Thank for the dope content!

I know!! Haha I would never do such a thing now lol. At the time, I really liked these SB versions of dunks but wanted the tongue to be thin like the OG dunks. In the process of making this happen, I ruined these 😂🤦♂️😅 (and another pair... Of SB dunks too lol)

Back in 2003 I wasn't into sneakers as I am now. 2003 I just graduated from culinary art school lol. I had a great collection of sashimi knives though lol. Awsome upload as always though

Interesting colorway with the navy blue and grey. This shoe is more my style! Very nice design.
The navy looks more..... greenish in person haha. Kinda hard to describe. It's almost like very blue dark teal. Super good quality too. Wish nike brings back this kind of materials.... Wishful thinking 😂
I read an article about how Nike is reducing their aggregate costs by switching from leather to synthetics. Not only saves material costs but the lower weights save shipping costs too. Interesting...they are obviously not passing those savings on to the consumer.
Definitely not at all lol. Nike raised their retail prices so much in the last 4 5 years. On many of the shoes I picked up from them recently, it kinda made me second guess whether the suede or leather was genuine or synthetic 😂😂 maybe the things the article mentioned is already happening!
Never had a pair but I remember Dunks being really popular at that time in my area!
Dunks were the "It" shoes haha. I still have many many pairs from the early 2000. They are making a small comeback!

Ayyyy thanks for checking out my channel 🙌🙌 dunks are definitely super dope and are probably my favorite model from Nike (mostly due to Nostalgia for me). Give them a try but see if you can try them on first in stores. Modern day dunks fit kinda funny depending on the width of your foot.

Haha I tried! The dark blue on Futura is quite tricky to match. It's hard to capture but it has a slight green hue (it's almost like dark teal color). This was the best I could do loll

The trick is rotating sneakers lol. Sneakers get a lot of beating when worn everyday. What I do is I rotate about 30 40 sneakers and all 30 40 of them look pretty much new even years after 😂😂

Ikr?? Wtf was I thinking loll. There was a group of people on niketalk back in the day that did this to their SBs. When SBs first came out, not everyone liked the fat tongue. I wasn't one of them but I did this mainly to see if it would give me more room (I couldn't find these shoes in my size). I regret a lot now in hindsight haha
How do you feel about the Desert Camo Dunks that dropped a couple weeks ago.I need to get the paid in full joints. I’m mad at myself that I didn’t pay more attention to Dunks back in the day.
I think they are pretty cool. I usually don't wear a lot of camo print shoes (because I wear a lot of camo print clothing 😂) but I think they look great.

Dont remember those but 2003 I was not in a sneaker spot at all. Any good tips for cleaning suede?
I actually haven't done any intense cleaning on suede leather but I heard getting a suede brush is very nessessary. Also I tried that pink miracle cleaner on suede leather and it seemed to do okay (more importantly it didn't damage the suede leather). What I do tho is before wearing suede, I put waterproof and dust resistant spray from Kiwi. It does a good job keeping suede somewhat clean.
@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV yeah maybe u could do a sneaker care or cleaning video. That would be cool. I use scotch guard waterproofing spray and use the magic eraser to clean white soles. I have Never used scotch guard on suede. I am afraid of ruining it.
I think you may have missed it but I kinda.... did a cleaning video a couple of weeks ago... Altho... it was more of a shoe cleaning product review haha (and I do not necessarily recommend that product 😂😂)

😂😂 It's a bit of a... mess at the moment. Half of my shoes are at my mom's and the other other is with me in my basement... and... In the garage.... and.... In my room... Scattered everywhere pretty much lol
