Parsons was a producer and not so much a musician so he had other people perform on his albums. My older adopted sister Liz was driving our Ford Country Squire station wagon, she was 19, and I was 9yrs.old. (1975) I used to stare at her alot, and watch her drive. In 1973 a bunch of headed to Naniamo to catch his concert, the plane was late so and show cancelled, ticket returns. Headed to a Cabaret on Front Street, not long after Elvin & the group gave us the best show. Memories just retired back & now seeing my 1st boyfriends from 72, he found me on FB. ❤

One my favorite songs, I have have seen this video 40 or 50 times. They do great singing it.
No singer ever did more to sell another man's album than Mickey Thomas with this vocal performance on Elvin Bishop's "Struttin' My Stuff" LP.
Mickey is the only one that could make the proper vocal transition in Starship after Grace Slick retired.
