Tim, love your style of playing, bought your books, aspire to emulating you, always adored the chordal approach, but - something gets in my way.
After 70 years of playing guitar, I have given up on standard tuning because that B string is like a trip wire lying in wait to get me - and I keep stumbling over it! Just forget! 😩
I have finally accepted that all 4ths tuning is the only way to go for me, though I will have one guitar tuned the good old EADGBE way, for when I want play those beautiful chords!

It's not the wand, it's the wizard, Tim would sound just as good on an Ibanez solid body with a Floyd bridge. I have my 2-3 fave archtops that he plays, but it just doesn't matter.
