Well things like this make me think that they're trying to play God. That's not a good idea. As much as some relatives of mine I would like to see come back the Lord took them for a reason. What it is I don't know but bringing people back from the dead may not be a good thing.
"Brought" back? No. Will we return because being in a white void, like in the Matrix? Yes. I've been there. That is one of the main reasons i returned.
I feel it's something we shouldn't do, concerning bringing back deceased humans. It would be traumatizing for both the family and the cloned loved one. As other's have commented that would not be the true person. No good can come of it.
Cloning someone is not the same as bringing someone back. Identical twins have identical genetics (as would a clone) but no one is calling them the same person. This is just talking about a new person with the same genetic make up being born again. Not brought back.
It's less of how and rather if we should even bother bringing folks back. Cause I know if it was me, fuck no I don't want to deal with the surgeries and other shit to get me back in my og body. An if we can modify Dna so I don't have those issues? Am I even the same person?
Yes. As long as that person failed to learn something valuable in life then he/she will be born again in earth or another planet to fix their mistake in the previous life (Reincarnation) 👻👻

It'll be another you though, a copy, like a twin, rather than the original you, the original you is still dead.

The real question you should be asking is how do we not come back

The promise that we would be ourselves bothers me and what I think would be the ethical matter. Would we be ourselves or just a copy!
