This video put a smile on my face I am rebuilding the engine on my 944 and I miss participating in these kind of events! Hopefully the car will be ready and driving in before spring.
thank you saying that!! there such awesome days out, we thought we went going to make any this year so glad we managed to get one in! what stage are u in your engine rebuild? was it because it was broken or a simple refresh? Engines are my favioute thing to work on! next weeks video is the 924 race engine rebuild (if I get it edited on time!)
@@EstherQuaintmere Its a refresh the engine was leaking oil from the rear main seal onto the exhaust and it was just getting very messy. I ended up taking the engine out of the car replaced all the seals and gaskets, and today I finally got the engine back in and hooked up to the torque tube YAY! Almost to the finished getting up and running again. It was certainly setup differently from other cars I have done similar work on because of the torque tube setup that Porsches like ours use, but they are such fun cars!
@@BennysBenz ooo excitttinggg!! getting it in out and in is hard I like the building part inbetween!! ughh the oil leak! my vw camper has been leaking oil for a while but I dont have guts to sort it out just yet!
Two of my coworkers are obsessed with cars & talk about them non-stop, & to be honest I never understand a thing they say. BUT, I could watch you talk about cars (& showing your amazing food) all day! I'm also very impressed with Pip's cameraman skills :)
