Please do a reaction of Lyle Cooper thank you!
Thats the most relaxed blast beat I've ever seen!
Blast Beat=Extra Fry.
I just have one question, why are there guitars hanging on your wall and not drums? haha ^^
"The way y'all people be acting out there...we don't deserve this." Lmfao church.
😂😂😂
This is a comment on the music, not on Arturo Reacts's reaction: I am only able to start appreciating how amazing Matt Garstka is, having started learning drums 9 months ago. Technically, he's beyond belief. But as far as the band and the music goes, I have to say that it totally sucks. I tried really, really hard to like Animals as Leaders, but being technically good at playing an instrument does NOT make you a good musical composer, and there are no good musical composers in that band, imo. (I didn't listen to every one of their songs, but did listen to one album a few times.) I know that nobody wants to say it, because then people will just tell them they don't know good musicians when they hear them. But when it comes to LISTENING to music, who cares about good musicians unless you're a musician simply studying for educational purposes? When it comes to listening to music, people want good music.
Actually this IS feedback on Arturo Reacts. I would hope to have heard a comment about how great he is technically but also a comment on the music itself. If you think this is actually good music, explain why, because most people are going to hear just unconnected noise.
You're so confident in an OPINION lol. If you're into prog-metal, they make very good music. They have a wide range of different sounds throughout their albums, drifting from ambient jazz to funk fushion to prog metal, they are experimental and orginal, and they obviously use their technical prowess to create really complex and interesting parts. But, I think it's BS to say this isn't good sounding music. And, it's not like I'm some prog metal head. I don't even really like AAL's sound a lot of the time. But, just because a sound isn't my personal preference, that doesn't make it bad music. This is very respectable music that may not fit your style. Also consider that their style is one meant for active listening and analysis (as you would some complex piece of art), rather than something you just casually put on and vibe to.
@MattDrew Hence why I put "imo". I am not a super casual listener. I normally am either driving ot doing nothing else while listening. Also, sometimes I'm actively listening while creating a drum chart. I am not, however, trained in any way in composition, despite 13 years of classical violin and multiple other instruments. Based on what you say, I will keep giving them a chance! Maybe they will grow on me. I do appreciate the feedback, even though I annoyed you and you think I'm an idiot 😉 (I honestly do.)
@@Marnee4191 I get how some of there music seems a little void of emotion, but go through their disc. They really do have some great sounding songs. I personally really like Kascade, Lippincott, Phys Educ, Mindspun.
@MattDrew It's not that it's devoid of emotion. It seems devoid of a solid structure to me. But based on what you and others have said, I'll keep giving them a try. I'm used to popular, which has a very simple structure, and classical which often has a complex structure, but one I can understand. But this music seems lacking in structure, but that seems now like it's just due to my inexperience with this type of music. I think the same of Porphyria (sp?), although I can appreciate their technical skills.
