    I put my Nylon filament in the oven at 60C for 12 hours and then left it in a food dehydrator for 12 hours and it printed perfectly.

    now this is what I'm talking about. there seems to be 3d printer users who just want to tinker and screw around with their printer, and then there is a user base that just wants to create parts as easily as possible. seems like this printer caters to the latter.

    Amazing review ! Thanks ! Do you need the full enclosure to print PETG and TPU. I only print with PLA, PETG and TPU no other filament types and I am curious should I take the enclosed version pf the printer ? thank you !

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  3 роки тому +2

      Thanks man! I'm glad you like my video. If you print PLA, PETG and TPU you don't really need enclosure if you place your 3D printer in room temperature. On other hand if you keep your 3D printer in cold room/garage without heating then enclosure 3D printer is very welcomed.

    Thanks for this review. Do you know if this printer has all-metal hot end? I tend to print with carbon fibre nylon and this stuff eats through anything else.

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  2 роки тому +2

      No problem, I'm glad you like it. I don't think that this 3D printer have all metal hot end. I have his bigger brother X Max and he comes with second extra extruder with all-metal 300C hot end with steel hardened nozzle. Try to write to QIDI TECH and ask them if they can add that high temp extruder instead of second one with 0.2mm nozzle that comes with I mate S.

    i have a question, i've had trouble keeping the print bed to stay at a specific temperature, and it keeps overheating. would you happen to know how to fix this? :')

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  Рік тому

      Check the heatbed thermistor or the Heat-bed relay(if there is one) That could be a issue.

  • @KristianBrodersen
    @KristianBrodersen 3 роки тому +1

    I thought it didn't include a hotend that supports the temperatures needed for nylon printing?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  3 роки тому +2

      There are plenty Nylon filaments that can print under 250c.

      You do realize that there is hundreds of different type of Faucet and I don't know which model is yours and also I'm not even a plumber :D I just quickly thought that two small crowbar can maybe do a job and most people's have this kind of tools in a garage or a storage rooms anyway so why not try it yourself. Try first to knock it around with a small hammer it may loose up. Also hammer and flat bigger screwdriver maybe also work?

      That's normal for a 3D printer printing infil at higher speed. You should see delta style 3D printer when they start to move in small areas at higher speed. It's pretty cool to watch. They are like small industrial robots. There are few delta style 3D printers that I reviewed in the past on my channel. Check them out.
      P.S. Edit also my Hallow IKEA desk table adds even more vibrations to a 3D printer. Best is to place them on the ground or on some real wooden stable table.
