I put my Nylon filament in the oven at 60C for 12 hours and then left it in a food dehydrator for 12 hours and it printed perfectly.
Thanks for the tip Andrew.
Thank you for the excellent and well executed test and review!
Thank you so much for you comment Steve! I'm so glad that you liked my video.
now this is what I'm talking about. there seems to be 3d printer users who just want to tinker and screw around with their printer, and then there is a user base that just wants to create parts as easily as possible. seems like this printer caters to the latter.
Excellent review, only one thing he practically said sh!it in 9:50 😂😂
Thank you! Yeah it slips :D Sh*t happens :D
Best review out there tbh. Subbed!
Thankyou for this review, this has sold me on buying this printer
Which slicer did you use and did it come standard with the printer. I’m a new subscriber
Welcome a board man!
I use simplify3D but with the standard slicer that comes with the printer i got great results as well.
@@NexiTech thanks man. I’m a inventor of a company called elite clipper mods. I use Petg could you possibly do a video on the best settings on that slicer for petg as well as other filaments. There’s not enough videos like that . Think you would get a lot of views
Thank you for the video. Finally had time to watch it. Great work as always. Love you brother.
William my brother! Thank you so much for your comment and your support. It means world to me. Love you too brother and I miss you!
What are you slicer settings used for abs if you don’t mind me asking?
Hey, great video. I was just wondering what filament you are using in your video.
Very helpful! Thank you))
Wow, excellent review. Thanks. Looking to replace my 3 year old Monoprice Select V2 that has served me well.
Thanks Nexi. Great review as always. Great looking printer.
Thanks Ron my Man! Wish you a great day and thank you for your comment.
Amazing review ! Thanks ! Do you need the full enclosure to print PETG and TPU. I only print with PLA, PETG and TPU no other filament types and I am curious should I take the enclosed version pf the printer ? thank you !
Thanks man! I'm glad you like my video. If you print PLA, PETG and TPU you don't really need enclosure if you place your 3D printer in room temperature. On other hand if you keep your 3D printer in cold room/garage without heating then enclosure 3D printer is very welcomed.
@@NexiTech Thank a lot :) ! I am thinking to buy this machine, I think it does an amazing job
@@NexiTech I have one more question because I can order it with an enclosure or without then to build an enclosure. Is it hard to DIY enclosure from plexiglass ? or the enclosure it has worth the extra 100$ ?
Thanks for this review. Do you know if this printer has all-metal hot end? I tend to print with carbon fibre nylon and this stuff eats through anything else.
No problem, I'm glad you like it. I don't think that this 3D printer have all metal hot end. I have his bigger brother X Max and he comes with second extra extruder with all-metal 300C hot end with steel hardened nozzle. Try to write to QIDI TECH and ask them if they can add that high temp extruder instead of second one with 0.2mm nozzle that comes with I mate S.
i have a question, i've had trouble keeping the print bed to stay at a specific temperature, and it keeps overheating. would you happen to know how to fix this? :')
Check the heatbed thermistor or the Heat-bed relay(if there is one) That could be a issue.
I thought it didn't include a hotend that supports the temperatures needed for nylon printing?
There are plenty Nylon filaments that can print under 250c.
@@NexiTech Can you point me to a brand you recommend or at least can say you've had success with? I'd like to try it. Thanks.
Did you design the figure yourself or is there a website that you can easily download, and thank you for your great
All 3D models that I printed I have downloaded from the website called "Thingiverse". I'm glad you liked my video.
Have a good day.
@@NexiTech thank you for the info
What were your print settings for ABS?
Hi. For gopro holder (motorcycle helmet) , what filament do i need to use ? nylon or abs ? wich is stronger ?
ABS or PETG should work nice for that application.
@@NexiTech PETG with carbon ? Or without carbon ?
nice vid man plzz more 3d printer vids
They really should come with a allmetal hotend.
Any good tool to extract the really tighten handle out from a Grohe faucet?
Cloth and two small crowbar?
Nexi Tech yea right. Small crowbars I never thought of! It may cost more than the faucet however
Nexi Tech but can we discuss? Local plumber say small Hydraulic puller can do the job. But Where is the pivot point? I don't get it. Any insight ? Thanks!
You do realize that there is hundreds of different type of Faucet and I don't know which model is yours and also I'm not even a plumber :D I just quickly thought that two small crowbar can maybe do a job and most people's have this kind of tools in a garage or a storage rooms anyway so why not try it yourself. Try first to knock it around with a small hammer it may loose up. Also hammer and flat bigger screwdriver maybe also work?
Nexi Tech of course! I just fire post my problem to many channels like you hoping for insight. Thank you for your advice.
1:36 a lot of shaking isn't?
That's normal for a 3D printer printing infil at higher speed. You should see delta style 3D printer when they start to move in small areas at higher speed. It's pretty cool to watch. They are like small industrial robots. There are few delta style 3D printers that I reviewed in the past on my channel. Check them out.
P.S. Edit also my Hallow IKEA desk table adds even more vibrations to a 3D printer. Best is to place them on the ground or on some real wooden stable table.
LOL you came back
Yes I'm :)
Cool
