    When I retired, I took a leap of faith and self-published some e-books on Amazon. I failed miserably. This experience created a fear of failure, which you have described in your video. I felt I was not only a terrible writer, but I made a fool of myself. Your video has helped me to understand that I was not prepared and I did not plan enough to get the job done. But as I reflect on your presentation, I realize that I wanted to be admired and at the center of attention, and because I didn't succeed, I felt I wasn't good enough. Besides, I wanted to be rich. All these thoughts did not and will not bring me happiness and peace. But I do want to write. However, I want to do it for the pleasure of it, not for money or fame. Thank you, Noah.

    Thank you for your videos Noah, they are very inspiring and show the lead to follow... I recently read a quoted that really inspired me and made me understand how fear acts on me. Here it goes: "When fear knocks on your door, let faith answer and you will see that there is nobody outside".

    Absolutely love your teachings! Even though I suffer from anxiety and ruminations, I am also very analytical. And because I am analytical to a fault, your videos help me so much by breaking down things into common sense. This allows me to dissect my fears and make sense out of them. Your teachings by far are the best I have ever found to make progress in my recovery to feeling normal again.

    I love the concept and have applied it to all the "insignificant superficial" fears successfully, but what about primal fears? Like:
    the fear of death
    or the fear you feel when you are having heart palpitations
    or an asthma attack
    or a diagnoses of terminal illness ect...
    I think a video on this matter would help a lot of people. Thank you for helping so many people.

    Noah, I really appreciate your calm presentations and the logical stepping stone approach of them, how to link things together and that makes so much sense to me as you break things down. When you asked the question what do you really want and left a pause, I answered you as I watched it on my phone "peace" I said. Thank you for getting thoughts into bite sized pieces and for being so calm. You help a lot and I find you to be a steadying influence, allowing me to take that breath to slow things down and work through issues without it being over facing or overwhelming. Many thanks for this.x

    Dear Noah,
    I'm writing this comment to let you know how much I appreciate and thank you for these videos. Carneigi says people have deep desire to feel important and the way you get this feeling of importantance defines who you are. Teaching us that, another person's opinion or action doesn't make you less or more valuable is a great thing to learn to be able solve our deep issues on our own.
    And I would like to thank you for showing me and others a way to achieve this feeling of importance within ourselves, rather than from things or people that we have no control over. I love you for that, whethet it means something for you or not. :D
    Take care, stay safe.

    Yano Noah, ever since I discovered free will doesn't exist, I lost my judgement of others. Sometimes I judge but then I remember it's not their fault.
    However I cannot let go of judging my past actions. I don't allow myself to be around people. Too much shame. They would judge me as they do not operate as if people are not in control. I even have a thought, that you do not like me.

    What if I am afraid of getting a mind disease? One that would necessarily make me unhappy such as depression/schizophrenia?

    • @michael367
      @michael367 8 років тому +1

      Your fear is: It would be a "bad" outcome to get a mind disease. Then the question would be: "Is it true? Am I sure?" If you can discover that you're not sure that the outcome will be a "bad outcome" then there's no more fear.
