Hey buddy! I’ve been racing RC for a number of years but just recently got into mini-z racing. It’s a ton of fun. One thing I’d recommend is trying to keep your hand on the steering wheel at all times. If I heard correctly I could hear you letting off the wheel in straightaways. If you keep your hand on the wheel it can really help with keeping the car straight and allowing you to set up for the next corner. It looks like the car is good and you’re a good driver, so just giving a little tip. I hope you have fun in this racing hobby. Great video.
So much goodness in this video! That car stand is really nice. The performance of the car looks way better than I expected after only seeing the unboxing. And that shop is freaking awesome - the setup and the accessibility! Nice driving for first time taking it on the track. Really nice video man! 😃😃
Thanks! I'm planning to go back soon and work on my driving and get more set up tips. Thanks again for taking the time to watch the vlog. Much appreciated 🙏🙏
Awesome to see your LHS be so inclusive! These Associated cars look awesome. I may have to pick one up. The increased front suspension travel alone could be a selling point for some basement racing
I’m really glad to see that there’s an rc track that is handicap friendly (none in my area are and it makes me upset that handicap rc enthusiasts especially handicap parents and grandparents who would love to experience something like this with their children and grandchildren can’t in my area
Thanks for watching. Thats part of what i want my channel to be. I want to put a small spotlight on accessibility needed at some of these places. I went to another track where the drivers stand had a ramp but was not able to drive becasue the handrail was higher than my face and the track was not viewable so I talked to one of the workers and they spoke to management and ade it happen weeks later. Also sending emails as well. Just let them know. I will eventually travel to other tracks here and there and get video and showcase tracks that are.
That's a really cool little car. It's nice to see a Mini Z alternative, fair enough they have obviously cut costs in a few places, but aftermarket parts are available anyway. I wouldn't mind one of these, the only problem is that I live in the UK and getting certain Team Associated cars in a bit tricky at best....
Hey man. Really enjoyed watching your vlog. Its really nice that other brands are dipping into the 1/28 - 1/27 scale scene! As you can see tire do a lot! I highly doubt that you will break a knuckle again with a hard body (just ensure your wheel offset is right and that your wheels don't exceed the body - maximum it should be slightly less than flush with your ABS body. Did you end up getting a transponder to monitor your progress?
Thanks for watching. I did get a transponder but I don't know how to install it cause the connector doesn't match with the easylap. So I may have to solder it to the battery leads. The wheels are definitely under the body now. So hopefully does the trick. 🤣
One note about the Jomurema body is that you may need grind down the window portions that are close to the rear wheels depending on whether or not the t-plate is soft etc, you can ask the other guys at the track and/or only grind down if you notice your rear tires are wearing down.
They were very fast. It handled fine other than the gyro. I learned how to disable it the next day lol. Which rubber are you referring to? I did get tires which made a world of difference. Thanks for watching 🙏
why are they sending you parts ? when we race we break stuff pretty normal. anyways yeah the hard bodys look better maybe the lexan bodys are better for racing as they are lighter? I never really paid attention to how people with wheel chairs get in and out of the car, your chair looks pretty sick. good luck with racing whats the price on these ? it looks more sturdy then a mini z
They didn't have the parts online to order. So they just told me they are sending it to me. I paid $119 for mine. The other for $139 has rechargeable batteries and charger.
Dont worry tons of hop ups will be coming out. You can use all the mini z hop ups for rear for now.the reason I ordered this instead of the mr03 is that the associated has a real servo
Looks good.
I'm glad to see another manufacturer get into the small car class.
I know right! Thanks for watching

Will do! Thanks so much for the tip. I can use all the help I can get. 🙏👍
Great job bro keep making videos 🙌🙌
Thank you so much. I will! Thanks for watching. Much appreciated.
I just made a new video at this track if you haven't seen it yet.

Really good driving for first run on the track. Very cool video!
Thank you! Hoping to go again soon since fixed car and new hard body. Need to practice.
@@AccessRC Where is this track?

Safe travels! Thanks for watching.
Very nice, I should have mine anyday now!
That's awesome! Be sure to check out my video on how to diable gyro cause its not in the manual. i just found out how today!
@@AccessRC I definitely will, I just subbed to you also. Do you have any idea what protocol the radio uses?
Sorry I don't know. Send an email. They got back to me within a day. Thanks for the sub!

Awww. That's unfortunate. Well I hope they make their way over there. Thanks for watching.
Awesome job on the vid!
thank you for watching!

Those cars look surprisingly fast compared to a box stock mini z. Whats your take on them in comparison as far as handling? Can you change the rubber?

@@AccessRC you mean you put upgraded mini z tires on it and they fit? Like a softer compound perhaps?
Come film at Cal Raceway
I'm planning on it 😎. Looking to build a TT02 of some sort. Also waiting for the new track next to Huckleberry 😁

I use to drive aAtomic BZ5 and MRZ with Sanwa MT44 Transmitter lot of fun though
Youre letting go of the wheel constantly..i can hear it. Try to hold on to your wheel 100% of the time
Yea. Been doing much better now if you see my other track videos. Thanks for the tip. I try, sometimes still let go. Thanks for watching 🙏
