Good to hear from you again brother! It’s been a good minute, hope all is well with you bro, I recently picked up the formula 1 1/28 team Associated mini, that one you got is more like a mini z, you should compare the team associated with the mini z’s you got, race em, good unboxing, don’t be a stranger, take it easy glad to see you dropping vids again🤙
Thanks bro I appreciate it. Yeah it's really tough to make any videos right now, just been way to busy. but I'm gonna try. Even when I was making videos before, it still wasn't as much as I would have liked. How have you been? Everything good? No new videos. Everything good? BTW, that little formula one is on my to get list for the collection lol.
@ yeah same for me, I’ve been really busy too, I haven’t made a new video myself in a good while, this year has been kinda weird for me, hopefully next year will be better, I’ve tried to stay in the loop when it comes to new Rc’s dropping though, did you see that mini max that Traxxas is coming out with? It’s a good idea but I think they screwed it up, it comes stock with the bls system!! It runs 2s!! Not 3s?? why would they do that when the Merv comes stock with the Vxl system? Missed opportunity if you ask me…..
Lol... yeah I have one pre-ordered at the local hobby store. Probably have it this week. If I knew more about it before I pre-ordered it, I probably would have passed on it... at least for now. I'm not too crazy about that bl2, and the price is a little high for what it is. I was looking forward to it but not so much anymore. But we'll see, maybe it's not so bad.
@@thischildishlifestyle I will probably get one too but I’m just saying, why would they nerf it like that when they could have put the same vxl system that’s in the Merv? On 3s the Merv goes 50mph stock! Arrmas coming out with their brushless mini line and they are 3s capable for around the same price as the mini Maxx! I just don’t understand Traxxas sometimes
Definitely gonna have a running video and thoughts on how it runs and handles compared to other small small scale RC'S in is class. Thanks for watching!
I raced a stock rwd mini z at hobbytown years ago ...after I drove a brushless custom build I was hooked until the guy told me it took 500 to build sold my crappie hard to drive mini z not soon after 😅😊
Yeah, if you're just starting new and don't have a radio that binds to the mini Z, it will definitely get close to 500 lol. Stock mini Z usually run ok if you have the right tires on them. Not sure why you're mini was hard to drive.
Not impressed at all with the ancient technology of mini z or this .. I have much cheaper 1/28 scale rc that's built miniature of larger scale .. proper diffs in center drive shafts independant suspension use small lipo not stupid AA .. the rear setup on both those cars is diabolical crap.
No way you're crazy, I don't know about the team associated yet, but the mini Z are awesome.... especially the brushless ones. I have gl 1/28 rc like what you are talking about that are setup more like a bigger scale RC, they run on 2s lipos, carbon fiber all over the place and still.... the mini Z, even with all the old tech you are talking about, can hang with them on the race track. I'll have to make a video comparing them all on the track. The only thing a really don't care for about mini Z is the price. For someone looking into getting one for the first time and wants to start with a brushless setup, they are gonna be spending a crazy amount for the RC and a radio to run it. At that point, they are probably going to buy a bigger scale rc instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a tiny little RC..
I also have a few Mini Z's and are quite happy with them but I don't race them I only collect them for the scale looks. As far as racing goes I have my own Kyosho dnano club with 7 cars, track, timing system, radios ,chargers, batteries and parts. Cars all have gyros, bearings, ball diffs and other stuff and they're not cheap, just as much as a brushless mini z, but they are just what I like being 1/43 and I can setup a different track in my house and change it in a matter of minutes. I used to have drive miles away to a track club back in the day but that got old. These Team Associated cars look ok but not scale looking. I have many Team Associated cars and trucks and are happy with them too for me as a major r/c collector
@TheToymanbb the thing with the team associated for me that is cool is that you can use all the kyosho mini z bodies on it and even allot of the upgrade parts from the mini Z, and your getting it at a cheaper price. I still prefer the mini Z , but it's just good to have more mini rc options, that's all.
great video an i liked that mini z that you showed there at the end an thank you for shareing your videos
Thank you. I appreciate it. I hope to do more videos with mini Z. Stop back by the channel anytime.

Yeah I know what you're saying bro.😆 They will probably announce another one shortly after you buy this one with a vxl and 4s capable 🤣🤣🤣
Hope to see a running video of it, and review of comparison

About time!
What took you so long!
I know, way to long. 😌

@thischildishlifestyle it was ok did the tire swap and stiff bar swap but after how smooth and controlled the brushless was I was broken 😆
@rcjoe406 yeah I hear you, the brushless is definitely the way to go. 👍 👍
❤❤❤
