I fly an Crux35 too, I fly with the Jumper T20 Gemini or Boxer. Just upgraded my Motors to the Xing2 1404. I wouldn't recommend putting out 1w ELRS link, especially with HDZero it gives static noise into the image. I ALWAYS have it on dynamic (Max on 500mw) for any Quad. Never had ANY failsafe with RP1 or RP3 Receivers (I did with RP2, understandably though) Usually its always on 25mw, even 5-6km out.

Dude, this is the same guy I was talking about from Reddit with the motor upgrade on the crux! Question for you man, was removing the motor plugs annoying, and did you/.were you able to through hole solder the motor wires onto the FC. I wasn’t sure if the gauge wire on the the xings would make it through
@@BAWWAABAAT-RA well I ended up ordering more batteries for mine and just put a Runcam thumb pro on it for now. Gonna test it tomorrow and upload some footage from that.
