- The original Destiny, for all the issues it had, was a game that actually had quite a fair bit of funny lines. Some of them were from the Tower P.A. while others can be heard in many of the strikes as well as during the campaign as well as patrols.
A lot of the work I put into making this video was actually spent searching through various forums on the internet to see what folks in the community thought were some of the funnier lines. It took a while, but after compiling a list, I finally started going through the motions of recording the actual footage. I wasn't able to record all the footage I wanted (namely some lines from the Darkblade strike), but I got most of what I wanted. With that in mind, I hope you guys enjoy this nostalgia trip, because I most certainly did.

caydes voice lines are actually pretty sad. it just shows how lonely he actually is and how he just pretends to be okay when he’s actually not.

I managed to perfect it, but I've had a lot of practice. I'm a Nightstalker main who uses the grenades that stick to surfaces, so I've always ended up throwing a grenade, realizing "oh shit, this won't work", then switching grenades while having to wait for my T1 Discipline (I'm a Nightstalker, I'm legally obligated to build for Strength and Intelligence) to recharge a Voidwall.
That sick burn from Lakhsmi and Cayde's dialogue never gets old lol. You should record the idle dialogue that Ikora and Zavala got from Shadowkeep. Anyway, thank you for doing this!

See this is what i wish we got from ikora and zavala in Destiny 2.
literally never got anything but stoicness and looking constipated from Zavala, and a serious face with perhaps one or two good lines from Ikora. I never even played Destiny 1, and now i feel i missed out on a lot of a lot.
Always did like Zavala going "What the hell was that?" when we see Toland's soul on Phobos while Oryx begins his attack, even if he's left confused by Eris's comment of "Fingertips on the surface of my mind.", which can refer to Toland, or even to feeling Oryx's presence, given her connection to the Hive.
Cause:hey Zavala, wanna what a transmat zone on the dreadnought looks like?
Zavala: You landed a guardian onto the dreadnought without permission?
Cayde: oh right *CaN I HaVe PeRmIsSiOn*
That last one... oof. I can still feel all the pain from that mission.

I consider destiny 1 nostalgic. All my friends on Xbox and we did all the raids. Now I’m on Destiny 2 PC and haven’t talked to them in years..

damnit, man. I never played Destiny 1 all that much, but i really wish that Bungo would give it a PC port. The armor in that game looks WAAAAAAYY better than in destiny 2.
