We've had a Nana reveal! Love it. She looks great!
i was wondering, why she had a left hand drive car, but apparently only the phone is british :P
Wow Spence, you're so much different in vlog format. You seem a lot more natural.
I may have found my new calling
@@EmbraceTheSuck21 Definitely, man. I'm really looking forward to your next upload. I enjoy watching you and Daniel, and have for a long time.
Welcome to our little island, hope it's as lovely as you want it to be! 😊👍💖🇬🇧
I think you are really brave, Spencer and it’s great to see you on your solo adventure in the UK. I watch ETS and you don’t seem too loud to me, so don’t worry too much about that - just use common sense manners but no need to whisper! Have a great time and will look forward to seeing where you go next.
If Spencer is really brave going on vacation/holiday, what would you call a firefighter going into a burning building to save a family
@christianking3915 as someone who has done lots of firefighting, but also has bad anxiety, you can't really compare the two. Either way he's braver for doing something than you are for trying to belittle someone in a UA-cam comment
@andrewjobson7264 I've also done firefighting, but without the victim mentality of you because i didn't have anxiety, so no he's not as brave as me
@@christianking3915 good for you, do you want a medal or something?
Don't believe christianking was ever a fire fighter at all, real heroes don't have to go around telling people..he's just a lying troll in mummy's basement, seething with envy that Spencer has put his money where his mouth is and done something he set out to do, and on his own too..I call that brave, maybe on a different level, but still brave.!😊✌🇬🇧
Welcome to the UK. 😊
Top Tip for first time UK visitors, spend 10 minutes before you visit looking at the Tube map (you can find it online). Not for what station is where, but to realise how colour coded every thing is and see those big white circles that's where you can jump from one colour train line to another without returning to the surface. That means you can go into any tube station and come out of any other in the whole tube network.
Watching the raw footage on Patreon and then watching this made me realise how good your editing skills are. This was great and I hope your Vlogs take off
The true london experience of not realising exactly how much walking you'll be doing.
Yes I do a job where I am my feet constantly and I averaged 20,000 steps while in London!
A day!
Don't worry about being "loud" - be yourself!! Seriously, no one really minds and we watch you because you guys are authentically you. I don't know if you're in Oxford, but I'll buy you a pint if you are! Enjoy it!
Welcome to the The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, ! have fun, it's a good place.
Fun fact: St. John's Wood is the only Underground station to not contain any letters from the word "mackerel".
"fun".
🤣😂
Even people who live near London struggle with the Underground, don't worry about it!
Not dumping on you, him or anyone else...
I've always found the tube map completely clear and logical. Added bonus is that when walking overground in an unfamiliar part of the city, you're never far from a tube station, so you don't have to worry about getting lost.
It genuinely perplexes me when I hear people say it is difficult to navigate. What about it is difficult? I'm genuinely interested.
No we don't, it's very easy to use. 🤔
Never had a problem with it. Each line has its own colour, and you can clearly see where the interchanges are
@michaelgillman2505 Not me personally, but a lot of people I know just seem to get perplexed the minute they look at the map. I've been using the underground since I was young to go and watch football matches and it's relatively straightforward for me, but that definitely isn't the general consensus among people I know
@@dib000 I agree with you, but many other people struggle. Neither of us speak for everybody mate
St John's Wood station is right around the corner from Abbey Road. Paul McCartney lives nearby too.
Liam G used to live there in the '90s too.
Liam lived up in Camden and Primrose Hill, lives near my mate in Henley on Thames now
@@huntinghistory He was living in St Johns Wood in 1998. I've seen someone's selfies with him outside his house. (He definitely didn't live in Camden. Although Noel did when he 1st moved down.)
I used to live in St John's Wood, right opposite Lords Cricket ground - the good old days 😁 The Abbey Road zebra crossing was a nightmare. Always had to stop for the tourists to do their Beatles impression 😂
@@amandasilver4622 Lol, yeah I've been there a few times and can sympathise with the local drivers.
That journey is a lot! Don’t give yourself a hard time for needing to rest after it! Especially with so many activities planned for the weeks ahead. Can’t wait to hear about the rest of your adventure.
Glad you played 'sensible' and had 40 winks or more! Any big city can wear you out at first. Croeso y Gymru/Welcome to Wales, my home country. Hope they treated you well. BTW, your Nan looks so sweet!
Have a good time mate. I watch your show a lot. All the best pal
You guys are the only 'reaction' channel I can stand. And thank you for all the UK content you two do. There's something I find very wholesome and joyful in watching two genuine guys from the other side of the world, reacting to so much beloved TV, music, films that I've grown up with all my life. I enjoy seeing people experience something for the first time that I'm so familiar with. Spencer - I hope you enjoyed your trip and looming forward to the rest of your vlogs
Wow, cool Nana 😍! And Joel’s a cool dude, glad you two consulted on your trip. Welcome to the UK 🤗
Aw bless you Spencer. You seem so concerned & timid. I’m sure you did just fine on your travels. It’s very brave to travel alone just so far from home. I hope you enjoyed it. You & Daniel will have to come visit now that summer has finally got going. Nothing like a few beers in various pub gardens or in the streets of London. Great vibes.
Thank you Nana for driving your boy to the airport ❤️
Yay! My friends in London were working the last time I went, so they gave me a "treasure hunt" with places to tick off during the day and one of them was Borough Market!!!!
Ah…you finally made it. Hope you have a fabulous time my friend🇬🇧
Brave boy! You got guts. Hope you have a really great time. Just relax, we don't bite (not usually).
Great fun and highly entertaining. Thank you!
Wow! Didn’t realise you were going! Hope you enjoy your time here!
As a former resident of Wales, I’m so pleased to hear you’re going to be checking it out. So often it gets overlooked compared to England. Enjoy!
been waiting for this! cant wait too see the rest! hope you enjoyed your time here :)
Love the hat Nana xx
Spencer in the wild! Love it❤
I think alot of people would like to see vlogs about yours and Daniels areas aswell
Might be dangerous to advertise where they live. There are always lunatics about and I don't think you want to invite them into your world.
@@michaelgillman2505 don't mean like there street or anything just like hotshots, poi ' s .. etc
So happy you've made it to old blighty. looks like you're in good hands too, look forward to the rest of the series.
Borough Market was just a fruit and veg wholesale market back when I got married in the cathedral next door back in 89. You used to see down and out's scavenging unsold stuff when the market closed for the day. It also smelled a fair bit in hot summers. My family have been in the area for a few hundred years. I spend half my time telling US UA-camrs who visit the market this. 😜
welcome mate great your here enjoy
Great vlog spencer looking forward to more
Pleased JPS was able to help you, have a great time in the UK hope the weather is good to you, look forward to to more videos.
Fair play, looks like a great trip so far. Enjoy!
Hi Spencer, its great to travel, a bit unnerving at first but as you do more, you become worldly wise. Welcome to the UK and London. Have a great time! Bound to find something you do like!
If you’re in England when they play a game in the Euros, make sure and find a pub that’s playing it. A great atmosphere, if they win!
Hope you enjoy it here in the UK ❤️🇬🇧❤️
Good start
Yes, Nana! Floor it baby! Good wishes for your trip mate, best of luck.
Love how you called the legendary JPS and how the internet has brought you together
Watched ItsJPS for a couple of years and love him too. Yay :o)
Timestamp? I must've skipped that part.
@@_Professor_Oak Re-watch? Spend your time, not ours?
@@uncontrolledhistorian7063 oh nice, thanks lol
Your use of word Legendary , wow you have a low regard for achievement
Awesome to see this, Spencer - Glad you enjoyed it despite the jet lag!
Loved it. I love your trip vids so far, as you just basically immersed yourself in everything, not just tourist stuff. I hope you come back again at some point, there's so many cool, old pubs to sit by the fire in, beers to try and places to see (mind you, there is a whole world out there but glad to have you).
Your nana is cool and jet lag hits hard so good job you stocked up on fuel!
That was one hell of a journey! How you kept going is remarkable... or, all down to those crème brûlé doughnuts.
Great start!
Welcome to the UK Spenser. X
Fair play to you Sir,meet people and make great memories.....
Drizzle is the perfect start to a trip to Britain
Just relax don't take stuff to seriously on underground just ask the staff there very helpful, enjoy your time here in uk
Thanks for these Spencer. Really enjoyed your presentation style.
Looking forward to watching your adventures ,from Cumbria ,hope you are made welcome 🌺
I hope you have a great time . Lots of adventures await .
The streets around Borough Market are where Guy Ritchie filmed most of his Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. Proper London :-)
You're a brave fella. Travelling on your own is tough. Good for you.
Nana's hat is amazing!!
Well done Spencer
Like your dai cap. That’s what they are called in Wales. ❤
Indeed, "Dai" being an affectionate abbreviation for "Dafydd/David"
nice to see you made it over here, hope you enjoy
Goodness me! You must be one of the few tourists to go to St Johns Wood station and not seek out the famous Abbey Road zebra crossing, a stone's throw away. Some other time perhaps - enjoy your stay.
For a Beatles fan not to do abbey rd and Maccas house in next street , bit idiotic that?
@@huntinghistory he did do Abbey Road, will be in a future video
Give him a chance 🙄
“Sweatin’ like a pig” 😂 that’s me on the tube, too. I’m a country boy from Leicestershire
I’ve been looking forward to this, thank you Spencer, will tune in for more x
Hì Spencer, im looking forward to watching you on your travels. Happy travelling ❤
Fantastic. ❤ Well done you travelling all that way then eating sleepy comfort foods. I'm surprised you didn't fall asleep on the tube. Enjoy your UK stay. 🇬🇧
What a time to be here too! Expect some pretty incredible celebrations on the 4th!
Welcome to the UK. l used to watch your channel but never get notified so was pleasantly surprised to see you.
The sausage rolls from Ginger Pig are incredible. Enjoy your trip, I just landed back in the UK myself today after a week stateside! I know the jetlag very well
I love take off, its such a rush..literally
Aaahhh welcome to The Uk ! 💕
Just enjoy your stay here.
You're nan look's a right character! x
yup...I bet she is a mean drunk!! lol.
Brilliant 💯🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I don't belong to any of the 3 groups, I just love your channel and I love the UK. The video was great, it's amazing what you were able to do on the very first day, after such an exhausting journey and lack of sleep! You must have been dead tired and hopefully felt better the next morning. I'm looking forward to your next vlogs!
Didn't think you'd make the hop over the pond. Welcome to our isles hope you have a good time! If you're ever around Manchester I can show you around.
Jeez. You did a heck of a lot having just crossed the Big A. Sleep well, tired dude!
Awesome vlog man! Glad you took your time with these
Hi Nana!
I did BWI to Gatwick back in 1990 (on TWA) on the way back from a conference at University of Maryland - way too long to be stuck in a metal tube, much better to have a layover.
Your in London 😍😍😍
It’s such a fantastic country not just London but all of England and I’m sure you’re gonna love it.
I used to live there ( I’m Danish) but now I live in sunny Spain.
Have a fantastic trip 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Try to visit other places than just London. Bath, Birmingham, Liverpool and York are must visit cities.
sod more citys, plenty very pretty towns. but yes london get out of it. london just a very strange part uk for sure it like another country
Birmingham, really!? 🤢
He did go to Liverpool and Bath btw
@rorz999 what's wrong with the second city? Birth place of the industrial revolution, heavy metal, cadbury chocolate, most Michelin stars outside of London etc.
Got to that airport pretty early!
Having an early first night after hardly getting any sleep on the bus beforehand was a wise thing to do. You have to recharge those batteries!
Love this! I get the underground every single day and throughout the day and it gets confusing still for at times 😂
Great video ❤
Great stuff Spencer. I was actually wondering about when you were coming over. Knew it was soon.
Mate your not loud !! Your welcome to my home town anytime, I was born and brought up round Borough market hope you enjoyed your stay !!
Outstanding. Go to the Gower
welcome to blighty spencer
Jet lag is a beast. Great video, more authentic London than some other Americans.
Love watching your vlogs ❤ You have to go down to the South downs in East Sussex . When your free 😊
Can’t wait to see the rest of your trip!
NANA! NANA! NANA! Whoa, love to your NANA!
Aww man great video 😍

Great video 👍 Happy you get to travel out of USA and life will be more exciting and fulfilling next the rest of the world 😊
All those miles to get to the UK and what's the first thumbnail I see? Food! Well I guess it was either that or beer. 😀
Can't watch now (visitors) but looking forward to it later.
Ive been watching you for quite a while now mate ,Its great to see you visiting the UK 🇬🇧.
Nana is stylish af! 💖
Nothing wrong with doing the tourist side of London. Visit Horse Guards, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, the usual places.
Welcome 😊
that was a convoluted journey
