super unnecessary video, just go to settings>personalization>background and on the "personalize your background" tab click on the drop down menu and select anything other than "windows spotlight" options and that should fix it

The fact this *requires* to go to the registry editor to remove the icon of a feature nobody asked for speaks volumes on Microsoft's part. Hope they'll be called out for these "changes" they make.

I get the spotlight option for the lock screen, but doesn't give the option for desktop.
